Just as well they avoided the drop. With the non performers they have they would have dropped straight thro to the conference. Then again they can look forward to picking their home games to watch against the big clubs in their league.
I don't know about you, but the gas never looked like dropping into the conference.. strange you looked at it that way
Lets be honest Lan the situation with both clubs is a bl..dy disgrace and embarassment to Bristol football. Lets get this season out of the way; get better players in; new grounds at each end and have something to be really proud of!
with a good summer ahead of us hopefully we can reach the dizzy heights of mid table.. but rovers should go that one step further to be honest.
Well both clubs are pretty much in the same situation as the Gas were last year. Managers with a free rein to clear out and start again. I still say that the Gas Board showed a lot of balls to allow the Buckle to do what he did with his clear out. It was a big point to admit that the Board manages the business and leaves the playing side in the hands of the manager and his staff. OK it didn't work out because the man was not up to the job. Lets hope the new incumbants can make a better fist of it.
Got the banter thread back up Sapphire, why don't you try and persuade cjs to join us,we need someone of his calibre to challenge us again, the rest of the blue mob ain't quite got it..
Main prob wiz its not cross threaded anymore. Our boards not got much of a turnover at the moment. We are all having to hold our noses and type with one hand over here. I'll have a bash at CJ. We need some support. God speed the faithful five thousand!!
Is it, is it really? Sadly my old thread "Gas up **** down" will remain in the archive for eternity, however, hopefully I can compose a similar thread next season
i love how you had you were supporting Coventry in your sig, why does all the teams you support get relegated
