    He's on 140k ar Arsenal<whistle>

It would have been worth it no end to offer him 180k or even 200k.

I hear what you're saying - it's not just money. But it's about showing an interest in the player and making an effort. I know Rafa used to personally show targets around Anfield, put them up in nice hotels etc, visit them in their respective countries.

But my concern is that even if Rodgers does all of that, is he a manager that players want to play under?...

  6. And i think that would be the right and fair thing to do. Let him have a chance to right his wrongs.

Well he had last season to showcase and CL football, now that bird has flown, so we really ****ed up.

Now what have we got in this summer's dealings to show off? <laugh>

We've certainly lost the pace in our attack but I think it stems from Rodgers overcompensating for the defence. It goes back to the question - can Rodgers ever find the balance? ..

This is what really winds me up - after this, we end up signing the Soton trio, all of whom we could have gotten without CL. Hell, we still could have attracted them if we were in the Championship!

Very diplomatic. Disregarding the likelihood of landing someone like De Boer or Klopp, are you willing to risk losing these two in favour of keeping Rodgers for one more year? ...

and now Rodgers will be like Oliver with his empty bowl.

I think he's gone I really do, he looked resigned to the sack after the game last night.

The only real reason I think he might deserve it and have to fall on his own sword is because he point blank refused any assistance of any kind in managing the team and transfers.

  12. Define the word losing. pretty sure you have to have whatever it is to be able to lose it :)

We are betting on Rodgers. Will he remain or be gone in the summer?

I am going to place a little sum on him being gone. The owners must surely realise that it is better to pay him off now rather than invest more on cack that will come to haunt us for decades.

I was having a joke on astro saying odd number days yesterday on another topic (brendan's mouth)

I saw a treble 3/1 with lfc, barca and bayern in it.

As LFC were in it i said no ****ing way.... bayern also ****ed that one up.

I'd rather drink it and piss it agaisnt a wall than bet on LFC
