That makes you second in the queue and me third then ! It needs a brave man to step forward and save us both
Get away with you, we know you want to really, besides get her to wear a woolly coat and you’ll be well away
These pesky Welsh wanting a say in the name of their national parks, whatever next ? they’ll be wanting to change the name of their country next
Here to help. A Beacon is a something that is on fire. We have seen how Welsh people react to toilets in BS3. They are not safe with fire!!
I had no idea. Thanks for enlightening me. I knew that beacons could be fires of course, but I thought that it could also be a general name for any landmark that aided navigation, not just something on fire. I also personally don't care what the locals want to call their land. It's up to them, but it will probably 'unofficially' remain commonly known as the Brecon Beacons. A bit like Pembrokeshire was renamed Dyfydd for a while - but everyone referred to it as Pembrokeshire and eventually it reverted back
DOES seem like a waste.. now all over Wales historical names of towns villages and the suchlike have had extra big signage.. with ENGLISH and WELSH... Saint Athan always had me smiling .. Spelling is just a letter from end of Saint to start of Athan ......
