Actually I think you’ve nailed the reason for the TC sacking. I always assumed that he batted the questions of signings to Orta as he had no say. I wonder now if his tactic was to say to the fans ‘it’s not my fault, I’m a great coach it’s the bad signings the DOF has given me’ so avoiding responsibility for results. Doubt that would go down well with Orta or the players signed?
Well now PH confirmed on official site as head coach. We need to support him I his endeavours he's got one hell of a task. I don't expect too much as long as he gets the decipline right, gets the lads to play as a team with a sense of purpose. O and stands up to Orta. If PH is a flop I will be laying the blame where I believe it should lay, Orta, but ultimately Radz. Anyone who has ever been in any kind of management will know that eventually the book stops at the top. I actually wish PH the very best, hope he knows the size of the poisoned chalice he has accepted.
Looking forward to seeing an improvement in attitude from the players now new manager is in. First job take alioski and saiz to one side and inform them there will be no more imaginary card waving. Better still take alioski to Leeds Bradford airport and get him out of here he's ****. Think we may look yo increase the physical aspect of the game under hecky, so I've a feeling the likes of alioski , roofe and Pablo may be spending some time on the bench. Whatever happens between now and the end of the season I wish him luck and look forward to an improvement in performances. Last Saturday was a really low point in my supporting lifetime. Afternoon all... I hope the new guy does well, I’m still very uninspired by the signing and something else that bugged me today about it... We sign a coach who can work on a shoestring budget, who doesn’t kick up a stink when the best players are sold and doesn’t expect to have big name signings... I’m now concerned about the quality we are likely to bring in or should I say lack. Did Rads underperform or is it the quality of the signings? I guess we’ll find out in a few weeks. If PH doesn’t improve us then what? Does Rads sack Orta or do we go for yet another coach? I agree with the guy who said Rads is on trial now, so far I can’t pick fault with him but in 8 weeks time if things are not starting to get better then Orta needs to go. I do feel things will be a little disguised as players will start to return from suspension and injury, we shall see...
Ristac I have a feeling theres been a bit of a war between Barnsley and eckythump, I guess he was promised good replacements when forced to sell but never got them. Wonder if he can work with Grot because I found that a strange one from Tommy. A kid who has U23 written all over being trashed for confidence in the first team, so they give him a game there and he plays well and even scores then gets sent back to first team instead of getting more game time.
When all fit I wouldnt be surprised to see him try a new formation, we’re strongest with defensive midfield players and our current formation means any two from Anita, Forshaw, Phillips, Vieira, O’Kane. We’re not scoring enough goals either so maybe 4-3-3 with any three of the above and Lasogga, Saiz and Ekuban up front. 4-3-1-2 even with Saiz sitting in the hole... If he thinks we’re lightweight then there will be no place for Hernandez, Alioski and Saiz in the same team, something will have to give...
