Good Morning Everyone

Ashley Fletcher wants to quit Boro, but seeing that he has already turned us down twice, has he burnt his bridges with us?




Neil Warnock has suggested that Joe Bennett got himself sent off intentionally during Cardiff's FA Cup tie with Manchester City yesterday because he did not want to be involved in the Championship clash with Leeds.

“I was disappointed with the sending off because he obviously doesn’t want to go to Leeds," he said, as reported by The Sun.




It looks increasingly likely that Lonergan will go to Sunderland, but only if the Whites can capture Liverpool's Bogdan.

The deal is not likely to be done until Wednesday.




Can anyone think of a stronger lineup tomorrow than:-

Morning Elk and all. Probably our strongest lineup. However we don’t know if Vieira or Lasogga are fit so if they’re out, we’d be weakened further. Regards the Cardiff lad, I was watching that game and commented to a lad watching with me that the Cardiff player had done that deliberately as there was a minute remaining and City had game won. Cameras followed him down the tunnel and he clearly wasn’t bothered at upcoming suspension. Warnock was going ballistic over it. Quite funny actually

Good Morning To Matt and co from a wet BardseyWill we or wont we buy a striker now Vibe has been mentioned probably cost less than £1m so yes feasible
Fletcher has earned over !M in transfer fees so I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole a complete waste of money.How monk paid 6,5m for him beggars belief Lonegren does he want a lift to Sunderland!

Vibe is a cripple, smashed ankle ligaments forced him out for ages, cant get his place back in the team and cant get his scoring boots on again at the moment. So for me a huge gamble when it seems we already have a striker with a sick note in Ekuban.

Fletcher not for me and if he is 5th choice at Boro what does that say about him.

Leeds spoke to Bournemouth about Grabban but seems the cash in transfer and wages is too much, however there may be a chance that Afobe comes on loan as he cant get into the first team squad now that Defoe and Wilson are the preferred 2 with King as third choice?

Everywhere I look today this story crops up with prices ranging from £3m to £7m. With signing now to be here for the weekend, to signing now but leaving him in Capri until the Summer. I was aware that 2 of Orta's staff were sent to Italy to watch the lad and he won MOM and scored and made one in his teams 2-1 win? But a gamble for me as only Seria B? Had a look at his stats and a goal every 3.5 games aint too hot but he does creat a lot of assists

Leeds have gone back to WBA with a £4m bid but according to Phil Hay probably too late to get the deal done. Another gamble though for me as not prolific and not experienced at this level

I think Afobe would be a good choice, is / was good at this level.

Think Defoe & Grabban are the top earners as Wilson and King grew into their roles. grabban sent out on loan as he was deemed too expensive if Defoe being brought in. afobe is a big powerful unit who I believe went to Wolves from Man City. He did well at Wolves and was snapped up by Bournemouth and did excellent work there. He is however well behind and needs games so he could be available for a loan, a deal could be done but not sure if this has been discussed

So the latest is that Orta had this guy earmarked to bring here in January. It turns out he hasnt got an Italian passport as Orta was told so he wont be able to play as he is a Nigerian and needs a work pwrmit. Orta now trying to do a deal for the summer but at a knock down price.
