At first glance a midfield reading nessi Ronaldo viera Matteus doesn’t sound too bad.

    Re playing Pennington

Put yourself in TCs shoes... if you aren’t successful you’re not here next year, you don’t give a hoot about developing players. Orta signs them, you play whoever keeps you in a job.

Stoty doing the rounds that Pawel Cibicki is being offloaded in January? Just been doing some digging into Swedish footy & Cibicki been with Malmo for years but was loaned out last season playing 22 times scoring 10 goals so not bad record especially as a lot of his starts was on the wing. Antonnson had a better scoring record & Leeds was the first club he failed at. Story was he was Frozen out by Monk so lost confidence, but To my gave him loads of chances in pre season but he missed plenty of chances. He is however now back to his usual record of a goal every other game. 6 in 13 starts. Lets see if he gets over 20 before getting exited. Lets see what Wilks can do too and young Clarke signed this week was almost played at Barnsley?

    Bartley had scored 2, Pontus 1, & Cooper 0.

Interestingly, in the previous 2 seasons, neither Pontus nor Bartley scored any, and Cooper scored 1 in each.

So it kinda looks like Monk should take the plaudit for last season. But then, we've scored much more in total this season. I don't care who scores them - as long as we get loads. :D

Thanks WJ, my thinking was that the back 4 maybe hadn't scored too many at this stage last year even with Bartley, and so it proved - we could see Liam/Pontus/ Conor/Matthew getting 3 by Christmas if we hit a vein of luck.

As I've said before, we're not the best aerially across the squad, probably Roofe most likely up front, so it would be handy if the defence stepped up with a few and Ekuban turned out to be great in the air.

Or Wilks or Clarke <cool> or Antonsson.

Go on you Leeds on Friday, I'd love to get one over on Villa. <ok>

With Terry's legs gone, and Grots size and speed, they'll match each other for pace....:emoticon-0148-yes:

    Hey'up Doc,

I'm not so sure it's the players, or Orta, personally, I think TC is a stubborn coach, which, imo he's shown as far as our midfield is concerned.

Klitch was pretty much our first buy, took a lot of work, and hurdles were overcome to get him, he didn't give himself the "Penetrator" name. I suspect TC is being stubborn and sulking about something, maybe Klitch doesn't gobble like Phillips.

Now it seems TC is sending Klitch out on loan,

Both Klitch and Cibicki need 2 or 3 games back to back to prove their worth, pointless just leaving'em out when we have problems in midfield.

Sacko I can understand, Alioski has stepped up with 4 goals in 4 games and looks likely to keep Sacko out untill, and/or if Alioski has a run of bad games.

TC plays with a single striker, we beat Bristol City with a 4-4-2 formation, then TC reverted back to single striker. We played Wolves who had a 4-3-3 formation, yet TC couldn't / did nothing to try and combat it.

For me TC is the problem all round, I don't see any sense in the majority of his subbings either.

We have problems in midfield, Phillips doesn't contribute, and O'Kane seems to be banging his model wife every night and is playing like a pansy, with rainbow boot laces, he seems to be more interested in gay pride than Leeds United pride.

Vieira has Tendinitis in his legs, you can see it in the way he runs, he's not as fast as he use to be imo.

Our defence is more than capable, our attacking mids are more than capable, our midfield needs fixing......:emoticon-0148-yes:

Can always rely on Ipswich to pop up with a good win occasionally to help other teams.

I think Ant will go close Doc, he's got his tail up and confidence back, Blackburn are in top 6, wouldn't be surprised if Blackburn put in a bid for him at some stage in future. I also wouldn't be surprised if he's recalled if his goal scoring spree continues.

I got a feeling Berardis going to score this season, if he does they'll be able to hear the cheering over in Holland.

Poleon roughly 1 goal in 5, Antonsson 1 goal in about 3.5 games. Matt Smith 1 in 4.
