It’s interesting that after 10 points from last 36, we seem to be expected to be cheery this morning. There’s hardly much else to discuss except the current failings at the club and what is the root problem. I’m sure when we string four or five wins together again, the mood will change. That is down to the playing staff scouts and coaches at Elland Road and not the fault of anyone on here or any other forum
People, calm the **** down. We just lost to the best team in the league, AWAY, in NOVEMBER. We aren't getting relegated. We aren't getting promoted. Embrace this transition season for what it is and back the lads
Dont you think its about time you stopped the insults .you are making yourself look a vindictive poster with an agenda.surely you can post without resorting to digging up old feuds.he has said let it go so no need for this to carry on.
Think we lost a leader in bartley and have not replaced him.also a goalie from the top drawer not the car boot.left back with pace and a solid center mid plus a pacey striker to replace lassoga.
One of 2 things has happened here 1) Shaks account has been hacked by someone with a brain cell 2) He has run out of tinnies
The owner wants to take a good long look at his business plan now and scrap it.those stupid long contracts will hold us back financially i fear.
Nothing 3 quality signings wont sort out, give the young keeper a go got to be better that the other 2,if not fook them all off.A good defender and a top striker is all Wolves had that we didn't.
We can blame the quality of the opposition We can blame the ref We can blame the players We can blame the coach We can blame the DOF But ultimately the book stops with the guy who heads things up
I don't think ultimately it will hold us back financially. The average wage in the championship is 7500-8500 a week and obviously that average is skewed upwards by those like John Terry on big wages a week. So even if we're paying some of those new signings £5000 a week (and I suspect it wouldn't be that much for some of the younger ones) then over a 4 year contract we'd be paying less than a million - you don't need too many of those to come off to more than cover those costs. Wood bought for 2.5-3.5 sold for 15. If Saiz keeps playing like he is how much could he be worth and obviously you have a much stronger hand in transfer talks if they are on a long contract.
Will take this week in context come Saturday at 3pm after the Barnsley game. Would have taken 4 points but hoped for 6 points (obviously would have loved 9 points) but we're still on course for 6 and then I'll take that as a good week. Last night we played the league leaders away and we we're definitely in it when it was 2-1 and then no chance after the sending off. Also Wolves had a £13 million pound substitute last night in Costa (£5 million more than we paid for Saiz, Jansson and Alioski combined) so in that context a disappointing result but not one to write off the season. If we lose 4-1 to Barnsley then I might be more inclined to join the gloom side.
