That’s not personal. Big mick is been given less money that cellino gave the water melons. His squad is league 2 standard and instead of making the sum of its parts worse than it should be he finds a way to make it better. TC has according to most here a good squad and we look ****e TC is responsible for the lack of fight in the players. Big Sam would at least see us safe from relegation. I don’t care if TC is an honest man. I want someone to manage my football team not my financial affairs. The sooner TC goes the better for him and us. As for being nice in the face of provocation it’s because the alternative isn’t worth contemplating.
Sam is after bigger fish and Mick being a Leeds fan along with his assistant Terry Connor would walk to Leeds
If the monies right yes I can remember Terry is a Leeds lad and I have met him and his lovely wife some years ago at Brighton
Both Sam and mick would want full control over signings and team affairs in my opinion. For that reason alone, they wouldnt even be considered. Remember Rad knows nothing about football, by his own admission, so safe to assume Orta had a big say in getting TC and the next manager whenever that is
I think Big Mick would come even with a DOF. But having tried all other alternatives it’s time to try the last approach. A decent coach, a clear remit to get us promoted, a transfer pot that reflects the income of the club and an owner prepared to invest his cash to achieve the objective, and free reign for the manager to hire and fire all the playing and coaching squad.
Do you honestly thing, given Orta will have a big say in the next appointment, that he would sanction a new system that would effectively make Orta himself redundant. Hardly very likely is it
When you put it like that no. But some here think Rad is a clued up business man and not just a stooge for Cellino. if they are right Orta has to be close to the chop.
If orta is the main man and likely is, hes the least likely to get the chop. Someone will have to see through him first and that could take quite a while
We have the makings of a good squad with the inadequacies fairly obvious to us and every team/coach that we play. With that in mind it's hardly surprising we have suffered a downturn after the excellent start. I would agree though that TC is responsible for a lack of aggression and strength in our play. Part of that comes from having Cooper as your captain and leader, if he did indeed analyze where we went wrong last season in his presentation to Radz then he must have seen have seen we were much the weaker with Cooper in the side. Bartley was last seasons defacto captain and he at times grabbed the side by the scruff of the neck and demanded more. We have no one doing that now and it shows with lightweight performances from Ayling, O'Kane, Allioski as well as Cooper himself. Two tough games coming up this week and no international break on the horizon (where clubs usually look to replace their manager/coach) spells trouble for TC unless he gets positive results. Add in the dreaded vote of confidence from the board and it would seem there could be a change by next weekend if things don't go well.
So Rad ain’t a clued up businessman. I agree, he is a PR man, and like all these snake oil salesman full of bullshit. The last PR merchants at lufc were, David, Smiley Salad and Noodles!
