Dallas was superb last night, only a blind idiot with an axe to grind would say otherwise, gave his all.

Thinking about that match and Liam's winner just the other day, he was on loan at the time I think? Best wishes to the boy.<ok><ok>

Flattering to deceive is the phrase that comes to mind.

The fact we lost wasn't just down to Dallas I fancy, he was great - as most of the Leeds fans watching agreed, judging by the reaction on social media.

Ignore him Davy. Dallas was superb in that game. Only reason NIreland are out was because of scandalous refereeing. I thought they were terrific especially in the second half and I watch a hell of a lot more footie than his critic here and watch with an unbiased view

Suck it up, the goal was a bad decision, but you lost to the better team, they out played you in both matches.

They didnt outplay N Ireland in second game and in particular second half. Btw, my lot are playing tonight, I was giving a neutrals (almost) unbiased perspective on the game and on Dallas performance. Agree though, its only results that count in the end. Much like us losing seven of our last nine and trying to put a gloss on the defeats, hard luck, penalties not given or given in the wrong etc etc

Actually, you'll see above that I'm not trying to claim we deserved to progress, we rode our luck for long periods. Thanks for the sentiment though. <ok>

Your cousins lost to the better team.
They could have played until June next year and still wouldn't have scored. NI are a tedious shot shy team and it would have been a victory for anti football if they had scraped through. As the eyties proved last night the days of defence first boring footie are over.

Talking of which the Danes are going to batter you lot a new one tonight.

    SUCK IT UP.

Quick question, why do you play rugby as just Ireland but football as NI & the Republic or don't they play rugby in NI?

If n Ireland and republic played football together FIFA would only grant one set of qualification places for European football. That would mean having to combine the league of Ireland in the south and the northern league. All too complicated. Rugby not an issue as hardly any nations play it
