Good Morning Everyone
Fair play to the lad. Not only had he been sent for flying lessons by the Swiss right back in the first leg, and left the ground in a protective cast, but lets not forget he lost his mum a fortnight ago.
He played a blinder, especially in the second half.
Things to note.
He can play 90 minutes
He can beat players
He should be starting for Leeds imo
Thoughts?
Meanwhile Lewis Cook has been called up to the full England squad.
I wonder if there is a clause in his contract?
Leeds have had a formal approach for David Hurst turned down by the Wendies.
The 18-year-old scored 40 goals across different age levels last season, however has failed to make a senior appearance yet.
His only game-time has come with the England youth teams.
Wednesday rejected a bid from the Foxes in August worth £2m.
Redders has had a swipe at TC in the press.
Spare a thought / say a prayer for ex Leeds Utd midfielder Liam Miller.
The 36 year old is battling cancer. He represented the Whites 28 times during the 2005 /6 season, scored once, but what a goal that was. It was the winner against Southampton when we came back from being 3 goals down. Who remembers that?
I'm sure we all wish him well.
