Good Morning Everyone

Fair play to the lad. Not only had he been sent for flying lessons by the Swiss right back in the first leg, and left the ground in a protective cast, but lets not forget he lost his mum a fortnight ago.

He played a blinder, especially in the second half.

Things to note.

He can play 90 minutes

He can beat players

He should be starting for Leeds imo

Thoughts?

Meanwhile Lewis Cook has been called up to the full England squad.

I wonder if there is a clause in his contract?

Leeds have had a formal approach for David Hurst turned down by the Wendies.

The 18-year-old scored 40 goals across different age levels last season, however has failed to make a senior appearance yet.

His only game-time has come with the England youth teams.

Wednesday rejected a bid from the Foxes in August worth £2m.

Redders has had a swipe at TC in the press.

Spare a thought / say a prayer for ex Leeds Utd midfielder Liam Miller.

The 36 year old is battling cancer. He represented the Whites 28 times during the 2005 /6 season, scored once, but what a goal that was. It was the winner against Southampton when we came back from being 3 goals down. Who remembers that?

I'm sure we all wish him well.

Morning all..

Good luck to Cook, there were a few that thought he was no good in our team, just shows you. Wonder what his value is now..

Redfearn probably did say a few words but the press always twist it, probably not as bad mouthed as they make it sound. If he is blaming poor signings then surely it isn't an attack on Thomas, more Orta?

Dallas, I think he is okay, I'd prefer to see him starting ahead of Hernandez or Roofe

Good morning to Matt and Eric and co from a very frosty Bardsey
I hope we sign Hirst I asked Souey to but him from Barnsley when his father played there Souey lived not far from me in Mallorca
Dallas should be in the team now
I see we are gradually getting a fine crop of youngsters together with another lad from York about to sign for us
Redfearn proved how good he was as a manager when he almost took Rotherham down so he should shut up
I wish Liam Miller a speedy recovery
I believe we will receive a further fee if Cook plays for England

Redfearns comments are spot on.
Too many makeweight cheap foreign players without the bottle to compete in this the most hatd fought and combative league in the world. The way to fix it is not to sign a load of kids in the vague hope one or two of them make it. We need a backbone.

Dallas. by all means play him if you think having no end product and being shot shy is the way forward...
You did notice how many goals the paddies scored in the two games he played out of his skin?
