Only went in the west stand once in the 70's when Lesley Silver gave me a free ticket.
We lost 0-3 to Liverpool in a season they wrapped up the title and achieved the record points haul in the two points for a win format (68 or 69 points iirc) and they notched up 100 goals for a league season.
The west stand was obviously unlucky so I reverted back to the boys pen and Lowfields Road terracing.

thank you mike for your kindness.as you say we cant buy till january.this new rule has sure put a spanner in the works.

 

a trio of useless feckers then.i remember when one of the players on the pitch had to take over.wonder who we have now who would have a go ?.

Actually Phillips had to take over in goal once and looked very capable

 

if he was any good they would have tried for a full season loan deal sharing wages.
