I'm not sure about LB or RB if I'm honest... Ayling and Berardi played the positions excellent last season, do we need Berardi to replace the off form Ayling or is Ayling being told to double up as a right winger thus spoiling his game?

Anita played a lot of games for a very good Newcastle side, are we getting the best out of him?

Coyle and Denton, I'd assume their progress out on loan is being monitored, do they have a bright future?

I personally think Thomas has no more than 4 more games to get it right. That would take us to December 1st

Home v Boro
Away v Wolves
Away v Barnsley
Home v Villa

Then we can get a new guy in, he has December to work with the team and see where we are weak or strong, if Cibicki and Klitch deserve a chance and if we can get a better balance.

That is unless the Karanka rumours are true and it's going to be during this international break that we see a new man coming in.

Ayling is way off form, and is getting left behind by opposing wingers, my preference has always been Berardi over Ayling at RB, mind you, a lot of other players haven't been playing up to scratch, like Jansson for instance, playing like a fairy with hob nailed boots on.

Having said that, I did suspect at one stage that Ayling was also trying to do Phillips job as well, cos Phillips doesn't seem to know what his job is.

Agreed, Ayling played good last season, but since our fall from grace he's missing a couple of top gear's; whatever happens, we need Berardi at RB or LB.

I would be surprised to see TC last 4 games if we don't beat Boro. TC for me is another stubborn coach, like Monk and Redders, and he doesn't have the foresight, and probably experience to see the problems for what they really are; he tinkers with a winning team, and tinkers with a losing team, and some of the newer players can't get game time.

From what I've read, Karanka has said he may have a new club in English football, but nothing substantiated yet, however, Radz has also invited David O'Leary to the club to watch a game.

Although Eddie throws his support behind TC, personally, I'd like to see Gray given a chance as manager, he did well as player coach and did a good job with the youth team at a later date.....:emoticon-0148-yes:

Berardi is way better than Ayling, Berardi thinks with his head and plays with his feet, contact and non contact. Ayling keeps getting caught stranded and players get around him....:emoticon-0148-yes:
Not sure I think Ayling is being encouraged to go forward leading to the space but hopefully if we get a new LB we shall see.

Anyway 0-0 away in Honduras which is a good result for Australia

I was open minded to the appointment of Thomas but I did fear the lack of experience in the Championship would let him down. We have good old fashioned managers in this country who know how to earn promotion from this division and the lower leagues and we have some promising younger ones.

If we replace Thomas then we must go for experience, I believe O'Leary (if that's a suggestion) or Gray would be a complete disaster.
