The Breakfast Debate

Good morning Eire how is the weather with you today The young pole that Matt refers to is 19 and so should develop within say 12 months I am sure Matt will show some highlights of him to wet our appetite
Beautiful day here Mike, some outdoor work todo so well. Looking forward to our playoffs Saturday and Tuesday even though I failed to get tickets for the Tuesday second leg. They were like hens teeth

Good Morning Matt and co from a dull Bardsey
Where you get these snippets from never ceases to amaze me
Its obvious we are planning for the future with these boys already good players who with good coaching can only get better unfortunately some fall by the wayside a recent example of this was Mowatt who is now struggling to get into the Oxford team and Barnsley have lost 500k on him
I am all for sourcing young talent but we also need proven talent if we are going to shut the moaners up
I suggested Joe Bryan proven in this league
Alex Macarthy proven in this league
Dwight Gayle proven in this league and finallyI like the look of Henri Lansbury proven in this league
Whether we will get them will depend on Orta but at lkeast I state who I would like I don't sit on a fence moaning!

Yes you do state who you like. What you never do is state how realistic the chances of getting them, whether their club have made them available for sale, if we can afford their wages etc. Otherwise anyone can shout out names of players they like.

The players I suggest are not out of pay scale for instance I wouldn't suggestTerry too old and too expensive
I have a few players after I had written to the manager brought to the club
Adam Smith who I was impressed with at MKD and Matty Smith who I watched playing at Oldham
Others I recommended were Jamie Murphy at Shef U he went to Brighton
Knockheart when he was at Leicester andc Taylor when he was at Oldham Warnock wrote to me saying he had watched him bujt it was always wrong place wrong time .Simon did get Adam and on his 24 birthday we signed Matty
So I have a decent track record I also liked the look of a central player playing for Blackburn but when I asked Chris Hutchings about him he said when they had him on loan he was just alright.
The lad has just appeared recenmtly on sky sports so I will try and remember his name but he was loaned to Ipswich when Chris was assistant to Jewel KEITH Andrews
Does that convince you

We will have the best under 23s in the country while playing in league one. Fantastic.
The success rate of these kids statistically making the first team is about 10%.

That's twice this morning you have started trying to trade insults. please desist I am not going to get into a row with you.
Yes enough is enough its getting tedious .

You think the manager reads your letters and signs players you’ve ‘scouted’ off the back of it fella? With all due respect I hope our scouting network was more sophisticated than that... though given past regimes who knows!

Matt Smith terrorised Liverpool in a televised cup game, nobody had seen him before, everyone knew about him then... He became a ‘hot property’ for a short while afterwards.

The International break is upon us, good look to both of the Irish teams, i think they will need it!

The more important thing in hand is the team at LS11, they need a shake up and hopefully TC is going to do that, he must be worried over his job, we have to soldier through to January and as they say "piss with the cock you have" in the sense of the players we have.

I would drop Ayling, put Berardi at RB, Jannson and Shockessy dual CH (tell the irish kid to go for the high ball and Jannson to tidy up, similar to the old sweeper role) and still put Dallas at LB, Viera holding MF, Phillips infront of him, Saiz righthand side of MF, Hernandez on the left side of MF, then Roofe and Lassoga upfront. the keeper is a massive headache, Lonergan and the kraut are equal in ability, so anybodies guess there, one thing for sure is that Monk must be licking his lips at coming back to Elland Rd, not looking forward to this one.

I am not trading insults merely defending myself against lies I di not say how many properties 2 Jags had and quite rightly asked for an apology

Technically you didn't but dbc asked you if he / the Prescotts owned more than 14,000 homes and you responded 'how did he get those I wonder' (or words to that effect) so it does suggest you insinuated how many they owned.

There is no chance tbh. It would take 100 people working full time to look after them. It would also give him a monthly income of over £10000000
