Leeds have had a £180,000 bid turning down for Polish international Kamil Jozwiak...

The 19 year old winger is out of contract in the Summer, hence Leeds cheeky offer.

According to Leeds, the player wants to come to ER.

It seems the offer has been turned down. I wonder if Leeds will counter?

Where does this leave the likes of Cibicki, Dallas and Sacko?

16-year-old Harry Cochrane is firmly in Leeds sights.

The youngster has come out of nowhere has become a regular in the Hearts first-team in recent weeks and is creating quite a stir.

He is considered an all rounder, and plays in the central midfield. He'll need to harden up for the Championship, that's for sure.

Its obvious we are planning for the future with these boys already good players who with good coaching can only get better unfortunately some fall by the wayside a recent example of this was Mowatt who is now struggling to get into the Oxford team and Barnsley have lost 500k on him
I am all for sourcing young talent but we also need proven talent if we are going to shut the moaners up
I suggested Joe Bryan proven in this league
Alex Macarthy proven in this league
Dwight Gayle proven in this league and finallyI like the look of Henri Lansbury proven in this league
Whether we will get them will depend on Orta but at lkeast I state who I would like I don't sit on a fence moaning!

As usual you can't see further than the end of your nose these lads if we get them are our future so we don't have to go out spending millions
With luck they will be ready to play a full part in our future plans please Glory start listening instead of opening gob

We will have the best under 23s in the country while playing in league one. Fantastic.
The success rate of these kids statistically making the first team is about 10%.

That's twice this morning you have started trying to trade insults. please desist I am not going to get into a row with you.

Good morning Eire how is the weather with you today The young pole that Matt refers to is 19 and so should develop within say 12 months I am sure Matt will show some highlights of him to wet our appetite

Speak for yourself but if you want to live long then I will give you a really good tip think positive always look on the bright side of life stop moaning it will get you down and yes you will die bitter and young
I am also very infact extremely stubborn si when they told me I had cancer I told them I hadn't and that they had made a big mistake thats the way I approached it.I am not suggesting for one minute this will work for you but it worked for me

Morning all...

The transfer window doesn't reopen until another 7-8 weeks, that's a lot of games to go. If I were a betting man, I'd imagine Rads is waiting to see what happens with Thomas and the team between now and then.

We need a new keeper and striker, they are not going to come cheap or out of contract so I'd imagine the search is ongoing for those.

A £180k winger age 19 is a no lose gamble so why not make a cheeky offer and get in first. The player will know of the interest so it could have been an offer so he knows not to sign a new contract as we'll have him.

I like you think ahead of the box they are playing it well with this cheeky bid no doubt will do the same for the Scottish boy as well I do think we need a proper left back as well.Mike

Indeed Berardi is fine but would be better as support/ competition for Ayling

I'm not sure about LB or RB if I'm honest... Ayling and Berardi played the positions excellent last season, do we need Berardi to replace the off form Ayling or is Ayling being told to double up as a right winger thus spoiling his game?

Anita played a lot of games for a very good Newcastle side, are we getting the best out of him?

Coyle and Denton, I'd assume their progress out on loan is being monitored, do they have a bright future?

I personally think Thomas has no more than 4 more games to get it right. That would take us to December 1st

Home v Boro
Away v Wolves
Away v Barnsley
Home v Villa

Then we can get a new guy in, he has December to work with the team and see where we are weak or strong, if Cibicki and Klitch deserve a chance and if we can get a better balance.

That is unless the Karanka rumours are true and it's going to be during this international break that we see a new man coming in.
