No I would give TC a season look what would have happened this time last year Monk had a place reserved in Kirkstall abbey! I believe he is now looking at Holy Island instead!
I'd leave Tommy in place for two seasons to get us stability and continuity ... it's clear that his football works, it's just that the eleven who start need to be on it from the first whistle to the last ... when the team played with commitment and focus they dismantled Sunderland and Forest, and they outfought a very game Ipswich ... when they added belief that they were going to win no matter what, they destroyed a stubborn Burton Leeds in full flight are the best team I've seen in the Championship this season, no doubt ... the players need to step up every game and promotion will happen ... this league does not forgive slackness, and if the opposition sense you are not up for it they will bite you hard ... Bristol away is a real test of character, but if we match them for effort our quality will be the difference Radz is God
If we keep him two years we will be in league one and on our way to league two. the job is far too big for him. How many more inept performances and employing **** one dimensional and slow tactics is it going to take for you to see it? We won't be winning or even drawing tomorrow.... That's not me wanting to lose, its an assessment of how far we are sliding under this watermelon.
When Burton we're flying high, a good few of us would have welcomed JFH in charge. I can't see the point in replacing TC but if we don't fix it soon my finger would point at the system rather than an individual. Orta might be great at picking players for 'certain' coaches, he might have uncovered some gems and/or rotten eggs, it might be the coach, it might be we are lacking experience none of us really know why it's broke. I was cautious about a director of football and coach combination, now I'm convinced it doesn't work at this level.
I have a neighbor who signed for Northampton this season and gutted because he got injured early on. I am fully aware of the problems at Sixfields
I agree with a load of that because this set up is alien to us, and all the old school managers refuse to be part of it. However it can work and when a team like Watford who cant fill a village green become regulars in the Prem, we have to take note. It is way too soon to slag it off or indeed say its working. We have all got to shutthefuckup until the end of the season and see where we finish. Remember 6th is our target this season, lets allow them to get on with it. If its very badly fooked at Xmas then maybe, but come on its football, it happens, its a long season/marathon not a sprint. We need stability
Very positive about investment and the signings, wasn't sure about TC but was and still am willing to give him a chance, director of football I wasn't sold on but accepted it was what it was. My comments after Burton when I started to think I was wrong about a DOF
I'm happy to see where we are after Christmas, I accept Rad is not going to scrap it all and I'm not calling for Thomas to go either
