Elland I saw a clip from the committee meeting last night, Lucy Ward was mentioned and then after trying to cover their arses Clarke said he had been trying for ages to get rid of Cellino, he said every time he got to the point there was a lawyer thwarting them. Italian law is different and the FA constitution wouldnt allow them to do anything as guilty means innocent in Italy until after an appeal ......... Makes you wonder why the FA are powerless with the Football League. harvey 3 times has taken clubs into administration sh wouldnt pass the FL/FA fit and proper rules, yet Harvey given top job. Harvey passes Bates, GFH, Haigh as Chairman, then Cellino, so if the FA are garbage what is the FL?

We have 3 governing bodies when there should only be one!!!

It's about time the whole system was overhauled. No more jobs for the boy's on fat salaries for doing naff all.
Far too much money in too few pockets.
Of course this will never happen.
Does anyone know how Harvey got appointed?

I've somehow got the feeling that there's a growing all-party movement from Westminster that's trying to reform the footballing authorities. Seemed to be a pretty reliable source, as I remember. Sure it was on the radio, telly & papers at the time. This current issue fell right into their laps.

I find that hard to believe, Leeds is a Labour run council, they only look back, the only forwards planning is the backhanders developers give them, eg Lewisham council with us.

I've always suspected that uncle Ken has the finger on people in the FA and the football league.

Fact of the matter is Beeston is the arse end of Leeds and of the beaten track of central Leeds, that land has been dormant for years, no business/housing developers would touch it, so if the local football club around the corner plan to develop it and use it they ain't going to say no, besides the local prozzies will be able to entertain their clients with a better backdrop now.<laugh>

    Bang goes my parking space!!!
The road through the site is often full of OLOFs relatives. They set up a caravan park there very regularly, or they did till LCC blocked it off with 30 ton concrete barriers.

You seem to know a lot about the local industry, and we thought you wouldn't venture past Lumb Lane.

Just because we have room to develope and you haven't don't be jealous, we need all the space we can get for our future which is looking great. With regard to your last sentence just shows how accommodating we can be for the visiting Milwall fan.

Been trying for years without any luck mate. Remember when Harvey & Bates were called to attend, but Bates cried off ill but Harvey went? Harvey had been accused by a High Court Judge of being a 'downright liar'. He accused him 3 times so at the hearing in Parliament, He gets asked why he lies and does he think its acceptable for a leader of a football club to be a shyster, and caught out lying under oath. (The committee was primed by non other than Lord Hawhaw who was after Leeds in a big way, Bates in a bigger way, and was Harvey's predecessor at the FL FFS. harvey was caught out telling 7 lies that day to the committee but nothing happened , then he took Leeds into administration again and got the FL job whatthefuckisthatallabout

A training ground just around the corner doesn't make the future look great 2 penneth, just makes things a bit more eco-friendly and convenient, the ground needs a major makeover, the West stand and South stand needs doing pretty much straight away and the Don Revie stand will need doing once they are done, your only hope of getting all that done within the next ten years is getting lucky in the play-offs and staying in the Premiership for at least a couple of years, I can't see that happening anytime soon.

Yep just as I thought jealous and bitter and twisted, never mind you have my sympathy.
Just checked your attendance figures which explains everything.
Never realised you were such a small club. Never appeared on my radar, not sure I know why I am bothering with such insignificant drivel.:1980_boogie_down:
