G'day, Fair play mate recent form not the best, but a minor blip, you'll see !!!! keep the faith, MOT
A lot of time, after a defeat or a very weak draw, anger and frustration start doing the talking, the frustration comes to top. 3 defeats close to each other, and 2 back to back after a great run is just enhancing the anger and frustration, to the point most want to see changes, some changes justified, and others not so justified. Cooper has been playing a lot better this season, his 2 fouls for the red seemed out of character for him, he knew what was going to happen the second he made contact with the player on the second foul. Interesting to make comparisons, Cooper gets a red and he's a liability, all the yellows and the red Jansson got last season and he's not a liability. Really up to Pennington whether he stops Cooper getting back in team, but Cooper is the player's Captain. I agree with you Hemase on Berardi, imo, is the best RB and LB we have, and played brilliantly and given great service in both positions. Anita and BJ are not a patch on Berardi, and Anita has a long way to go to emulate Gaetano. Aylings been doing a great job at RB, but has 2 weakness's that some wingers, and teams exploit, some wingers can go around him easy, and he has a tendency to get to far forward on occasions, leaving a big hole for no one to fill when a team counters. Alioski, we all know what he can do, we've seen it, but like our other new players to championship, they're all coming up against the bigger teams, and teams that bully and harass. Should Alioski be having a problem on right, then swap him to left, he's naturally left footed and can play both sides, so can Dallas. Alioski and Saiz play well together, but their radars seemed to have been off lately, which makes me suspect TC is giving out different tactical instructions. Saiz, imo, compliments Hernandez, Saiz has allowed Pablo to do more of what he's good at. Pablo has a quick eye, and for most of time is 1 to 2 seconds ahead of most, that's his experience talking. Pablo's 31/32, he's on the top of a decline for a midfielder at this level, but it's that experience of being 1 or 2 seconds ahead that benefits our team. He may well be off par occasionally, but it's the sparks he provides that ignites the strikers, then it's up to the strikers. Jansson is not playing the same way he played last season, he seems to be verbally shackled, which again makes me suspect he's been given different instructions. Last 4 games we've been bossed in midfield, we've allowed our opponents to build up their play and counters through midfield. Phillips imo should be rested, he doesn't boss the midfield and brings no impact to team. O'Kane's been playing under par too, I suspect Phillips doesn't compliment O'Kane, I'd like to see Klitch and Vieira, or Klitch and O'Kane, given a couple of games together I think Klitch and O'Kane can be a good partnership for us. We need to dominate midfield. Like everyone says, the whole team's off, and hard to blame anyone player, but at same time, TC needs to repair where repairs are required, doesn't matter what player it is, tinkering doesn't repair. Hopefully TC does some repair work instead of just using a plaster, and we get back on track against Reading, and kick Leicester's arse.....
