Good Morning Everyone

Lasogga has told Leeds Utd that he would like to play on Saturday despite his partner due to have a baby at the same time.

Thoughts?




Christiansen, along with McCarthy, Nuno and Warnock have all been shortlisted for Manager of the Month for August.

I'll give you three guesses who won't get it!




Ekuban is due to be out for eight weeks following recent surgery on his ankle

Unfortunately Colin will win it and we can't really argue with that. Still, I would be happy if TC was shortlisted every month but never won it as long as a variety of different managers do - consistency is the key in this league.

Morning all. Still gutted about Boggers tbh. Amazing last time a Leeds Manager won Manager of the month was December 2010. Probably indicates how mediocre our squads have been. They weren’t all bad managers and if they had the right material, I’m sure some of them would have managed to win it. Still, like Marcos said, don’t care if we never win it as long as we’re in contention every month

Manager of the month will have to be Colin. To be fair cardiff's form was promotion form from the second half of last season and it's continued.

Shame he treated his time at Leeds as a part time jolly.

In retrospect though our succession of failures has finally seen us end up with a seemingly responsible owner, which we might not have otherwise got. Fate moves in mysterious ways.

Lassoga sounds like a man with a mission, dying to shut a few people up in Hamburg. Hope he starts, hope he rips this league up, hope his wife has the baby Sunday and both fine.

Warnock had always wanted to manage Leeds, everywhere Warnock went he won promotion, but as soon as he gets to us he sees he has no chance with the owners so goes on holiday for the time he was with us. Wonder how he would have done if he had been backed by the owner .... his record is second to none at this level

It's a strange one doc, but for a guy who had always wanted the job... he sure as hell checked out quickly, in fact I'm not sure he ever checked in.

Re lasogga, it's a good sign that he didn't want to just take his cash at hamburg. As for risking missing the birth of his child... maybe he's secretly hoping to!

Afternoon all....

Never knew Boggers away from this forum, never even met the guy, I just got used to his positive posts on here and I still feel shocked, nothing football related seems that important at the moment and readng what his wife wrote brought a lump to my throat, as soon as my wife walked in I gave her a big hug, life really is too short, I think we could all do with a dose of the mans positivity sometimes. It certainly won't be the same without him on here that's for sure.
