As much as I am unbelievably unsure on Tommy, its a very good sign we are finally getting this sorta stuff put in place. Maybe every appointment wont be right but they are all happening in the space of a couple weeks. Think as a club this makes us much stronger, may only see evidence of that in a few years unfortunately. The whole Monk thing still just irritates me so much, the timing of it specifically. Means we are just behind in all our preparations. Player signings probably won't even start to happen for a couple weeks yet.
I was just thinking there, Josh, that perhaps we're not as far behind as we think in some areas. I would hazard a guess that when Orta joined us, he already had a list drawn up of players for us to pursue. It wouldn't surprise me if Monk got sight of it too, before he left. I'm not so sure about the pre-season as I don't know who would organise it with our new set-up - but I'd hazard a guess it's Orta's job & arrangements were being worked on in a similar timescale to the player list. Pure speculation on my part, but I cannot imagine Orta sitting on his hands until he walked through the door officially.
But never an answer from you - just another deflection. You'd just dig a deeper hole if you tried to defend your ramblings. Get back on the meds.
