Good Morning Everyone

Andrea Radrizzani has had enough time (IMO) to find a successor for Garry Monk!

Monk quit on the 25th May; it is now 15th June. I believe that is more than adequate to search the market place, speak to your board, draw up a short list and interview!

Agree or not?

Here is a list of the usual suspects...

Anyone shocked? <yikes>

Pontus Jansson’s transfer is set to go ahead on July 1, after FIFA announced the issue between the Whites and Torino has been resolved.

There was a clause in Jansson’s loan deal with Leeds that gave the Whites the option to sign the Swedish international after his 22nd appearance, which was when Torino expected payment for a permanent transfer.

However, after confusion surrounding the transfer, Leeds paid an initial instalment last month, and FIFA have now confirmed Jansson is able to move to Elland Road permanently on the proposed date.

It was agreed back in February that Jansson would join Leeds permanently in July, for around £3.5m, signing a three-year deal at Elland Road after an impressive spell on-loan in West Yorkshire.

This is terrible

Of course we are going to lose players / fail to make signings. Who is going to be motivated to stay/join when we don't even have a coach/manager

Just so depressing

I can't even be bothered discussing it, we've had one owner after another, one manager after another, no continuity no direction no momentum

Just crap

Morning 2020, C'mon, it will be alright....<hug>

Morning all. The one name that isn't on the list is Mick McCarthy and he is one person who would get my full backing straight away. I know it won't happen because he seems happy and supported by the Ipswich public and board and owner, so why would he leave that security for us.:(

Skaks I am meeting a guy tonight who is a season ticket holder at Portman Road. Loves Big Mick but most of the fans dont. They have no cash so Mick has to wheel & deal on the bottom and does a great job with what he has, but is pissed off big time.Ipswich fans expect to be in the play offs. He would walk to ER but its down to working under a structure that has a DoF at the head? I hope Radz goes for him but is there compensation involved? Pearson is still on the scene so wonder if he could be a dark horse. Tick the boxes of experience of promotion winning teams but the structure again could be a problem.

Dont fancy the Sanchez guy as he has a crap win ratio, what has he done? Hierro is fav for me and hope if we arent going for a UK big hitter we get him.

IT NEEDS SORTING THIS WEEK

Mick Macarthy & Terry Connor signed a contract extension last year taking them to 2018, which Im guessing is the end of this season. Been there since 2012 and have an option to take them t 2020. Be good to see Terry Connor back at the club where he scored his first goal as a striker. In fact I was stood in the kop behind the goal and watched the 17 year old ex schoolboy from Foxwood School score on his debut, awesome.

Morning all.

Regarding Bartley I wish him all the best wherever he plays his football next season.

He always gave 100%, never whinged or moaned and genuinely tried his best to help others in the team.

However unfortunately for Kyle he lacks the pace to be a PL defender and that is his big achilles heel as a player. Would still happily have him back at Leeds but we all know that will not happen so we move on and try to find someone better.

Isn't he Irish?

Don't think that would get past the KKK division. Check with Chesh

Morning all. So new manager to be announced today. We'll shortly know the calibre of personnel Rad is lining up. Just hoping his advisors know what theyre at and there is a substantial budget to go a step further than last season. Can only keep the fingers crossed and hope. Feels just like the last dozen summers anyway.
