It wasn't a thread as such - it was when someone went off in a huff to build a rival forum and the first person that arrived on the site within hours was LL offering to be a moderator.

Forum builder was wild with excitement and was firing off PMs telling people he had LLs address and was going to cause havoc with pizza deliveries etc before banning him from the new site.
Things started to unravel though when he couldn't get the banning function to work and LL kept reappearing - result, whole new site binned and a day wasted.
Couple of days later, site builder asks Mighty if he has been naughty and I clocked what he meant and literally pmsl - LL had never been on the site, Mighty had using the same avatar, style of writing and everything but the genious bit was he couldn't be banned because he was using the site builders own IP address.
Obviously, it would be highly unprofessional of me to name the Forum builder!
I am sure someone more technical and motivated than I can find the thread (s) where the great reveal was discussed - I had two whole weeks of pure joy watching the whole thing!!
