Apparently the EU will demand border control once we're out Paul but I don't give a **** as it won't be our problem.

That'll take care of itself at the next GE when she's returned with a 100+ majority and wipes out the unelectable Labour in the process, shame we have to wait till 2020.

I never said that the majority wouldn't want to be part of uk. I just said it has never been put to a democratic vote. I have no doubt if there was a referendum there would be a slight majority in favour of staying, but davy could answer that better. If you don't want any part of Ireland why are you there in the first place? you wanted it when it suited you. Why don't you fight for Englands independence.
Personally I think the North should become a nation in its own right independent of the Uk and the Republic. While its part of one or the other half the population will be unhappy

200-300 years ago rich land owners who had control of large parts of Ireland wanted it,just like they wanted Africa and many other places. As a whole it gives very little to the world apart from drunken paddys, and for your thoughts on the world wanting to be Irish, how many Irish live in England,America in fact all over the world, the Irish don't even want to be Irish it would seem. And now with the Eu many many millions could if they wanted to be Irish could be,but very few do,sorry to be so blunt, but its a fact as is the reason we are pulling out next week, they all want to be English.

Northern Ireland was useful in WWII for British naval bases

Southern Ireland meanwhile chose the losing side and didn't prove much help to Herr Fuhrer :emoticon-0147-emo:

Your lot tried to bomb us into submission, now you are trying to vote us into it by having so many paddy insurgents here voting to skew the result. Good job agent May is going to bail and we will stay in.

Go on admit it chesh I won't tell anyone. You'd love to be Irish wouldn't you? Of course there are no English people living in US OZ spain Ireland NZ? Go to pub tonight for a few pints of bitter and try to lose your insecurities while you're at it. Be careful though you might be sittting beside a paddy or a muzzy. God knows what you'd catch off them
