Good Morning Everyone,

As we all know Charlie Taylor's contract runs out next Summer.

If we are offered let's say 10m for him in the January transfer window, should we accept it?

According to some sources on social media, the takeover has been given the green light by the Football League.

If so, how come there is nothing coming from either Elland Road, or the likes of Hay, Sobot and Popey?

With Wood sidelined with a hamstring problem, who should we use in his place?

The obvious name is Doukara. Any other thoughts?

Morning all...

If he is willing to sign a new contract get him to sign, if he isn't then unless we can find a decent replacement keep hold until the summer.

Seeing reports he is back to his best, strange that as we approach January...

A Leeds United fan found himself celebrating a goal by bitter rivals Manchester United - as the late winner landed him a £125,000 windfall. David Newsholme, from Leeds, won half of Sky Bet's Super 6 prize pot after correctly guessing the scores of the selected Premiership matches.

All of Sky's pre-match favourites looked set for victory - apart from the Red Devils, who were drawing 1-1 with Crystal Palace until the 88th minute, when Zlatan Ibrahimovic fired home the winner on Wednesday night.

David's predictions came with combined odds of 244,000/1. He also correctly guessed that Manchester City would beat Watford 2-0, Liverpool would overcome Middlesbrough 0-3, Chelsea would win 0-1 at Sunderland, West Ham United would defeat Burnley 1-0 and Tottenham would beat Hull City 3-0 in the midweek fixtures.

“As a Leeds supporter I never like to see Man United score, but I’ll make an exception on this occasion!. I’ll forever be a Zlatan fan and even though he doesn’t need the money I might just send him a Christmas bonus!” said delighted David.

A huge Super 6 round is planned for Boxing Day, when £1million will be split between all players who correctly guess the six results.

Morning ristac, I think it is as much to do about a better dressing room environment and a winning mentality as it is about putting himself on the transfer window shelf.

England and Scotland will avoid a points deduction for wearing armbands featuring poppies in their World Cup qualifier on Armistice Day but have both been found guilty of breaking Fifa rules and will be fined and reprimanded, The Independent understands.

Though the English FA said on Tuesday that it has not been notified of Fifa’s decision, sources close to the process have indicated that the three-man committee which discussed the issue last Friday in Zurich have found both the English and the Scots to be in breach of breaking rule 4.4, which concerns political, religious or commercial messages at football matches.

The decision was reached by a three-man disciplinary committee, made up of former Switzerland international Claudio Sulser, USA representative Mike Edwards and Tunisia delegate Mahmoud Hammami.

The FA’s 'Poppy War' goes against everything the poppy stands for
There is very little precedent for Fifa to work with when deciding what penalty to hand down but experts familiar with the process said that the fact this was a first offence should be a mitigating factor for England and Scotland. There is no statutory limit to the fine that might be dealt out.

It is understood that Northern Ireland, who were playing a home qualifier against Azerbaijan on the night in question, and Wales, who were playing Serbia in Cardiff, have also been found in breach of the rules. The Irish were shocked to discover they had been charged, when they dispensed with the idea of wearing poppies on their shirts and instead opted for black armbands, a wreath, which was laid by members of the Royal British Legion, and a poppy mosaic displayed by fans in the Windsor Park Kop. It is the mosaic in the Windsor Park main stand which seems to have caused the breach, even though the Irish felt it was a well thought out creation and respectful of all sides in conflict.

Wales did not wear poppies either but they, too, authorised what Fifa described as “several incidents involving the display of poppy symbols.”

The fine faced by England and Scotland is thought to be more substantial than the other two home nations, though the sensitivity of the ruling means that the decision will not be made public until next Monday at the earliest. The world football governing body usually releases details of punishments the day after a disciplinary committee sits. But with the wording of the judgement being worked on in fine detail, it will be made public at least ten days after the decision was made.

The FA had sought the opinion of a QC on the issue and insisted that Fifa was applying "the wrong rules." FA chief executive Martin Glenn insisted before the issue was considered that “this is a law-of-the-game issue, not a Fifa competition issue. I’m very confident that our legal position’s right, our moral position’s certainly right, and – you know what – there are bigger things in the game for Fifa to worry about. Our case is absolutely rock solid.”

The English national team were actually permitted to wear similar armbands featuring poppies for a game ahead of Armistice Day in 2011 against Spain. That precedent could be cited in any appeal by the English FA to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Morning all. In a bit of a hurry today so will check in later to hear all about our great new owner. Has to be today or egg on face time again for some twits on twitter and waccoers. I could be busy typing at about 12.05 in the morning <laugh>

The takeover fiasco is not a given folks. Yes I know there are many saying its about to happen fueled by the Mail and Sun, but the fly in the ointment is Cellino. He has sole ownership now, and cleared all debts, except to a deffered payment to GFH. I respect fans like O'Rourke but hes in Canada and all the supposedly in the know crowd are just looking like idiots. Cellino has another problem with the FL and knowing him he will want to fight them, instead of just cashing in and fooking off. I know this though, Taylor would find it easier to sign if Cellino wasnt around

No one is saying its gonna be announced today, so how will people have egg on their face? Rumours just say its been approved and announcement will be soon. Something is defo happening as the signs are so obvious. Cellino is all but finished and can't avoid the ban unless his stake is 19% or less i believe. He is a dead man walking. Good riddance.

I'll believe we've got a new owner when it appears on the OS. If we do get a new owner, let's hope we can get contracts sorted for all those Monk wants to tie down deals for

Its the arrogance of the clowns constantly claiming they are in the know that becomes annoying. Theyre not, theyre simply putting two and two together and coming up with a hundred. As weve previously said, some day they will be right. There will be some back slapping done then
