Good Morning Everyone,

Liam Bridcutt will finally became a Leeds Utd player later today. The 27 year old holding midfielder will put pen to paper and sign a two year deal.

He will be eligible to play tonight. He would have needed to be signed before midday yesterday.

Bridcutt is not the only player who will be joining today!!!

You may recall last week Leeds had a reported bid turned down for Zulte Waregem full-back Bryan Verboom; well, Belgium football writer Pieter-Jan Calcoen says the player has now agreed personal terms at Elland Road.

News: Bryan Verboom ([HASHTAG]#ZulteWaregem[/HASHTAG]) has agreed personal terms with [HASHTAG]#LeedsUnited[/HASHTAG]. @HLNinEngeland [HASHTAG]#LUFC[/HASHTAG]

Thoughts?

Berardi will be out for between 4 - 6 weeks. Garry Monk reported: “I think we are looking at around four weeks and possibly between four and six weeks would be the total right now.

"But I am told he is a very good healer.

“If it’s less than that time great, but if not, then that’s the time frame so far.”

Morning Elland and all. So Berardi was injured after a all. Oh dear, seems the conspiracy theories around his subbing at QPR were wide of the mark. That's a first <doh>. Think Ristacs points re the poor or non existent Pre season may be spot on. At least I hope they are. Will likely be another few weeks before we can properly assess the actual quality of the new squad. As I said elsewhere, unless Taylor's willing to commit to the club, I'd prefer if he's not involved at all

Morning Eire,

Ys, I believe the same. Players were nowhere near ready for the start of the season. I know Beattie has only been there for 3 - 4 weeks, but he needs to shoulder some of the blame...

Obvious that we didnt get a full pre season. No manager, no itinery for where we were going and who we were playing. Not enough players etc.

When Berardi comes back that should solve the full backs and cover issues, as long as Taylor is commited.

Bridcutt is ok but not what we wanted but better than what we had and never heard of brian verboom ffs

Hoping for an 6-0 win but a draw expected

Good Morning Doc, would have thought Ayling is a more than capable replacement (hopefully)

VavaVoom is a left back so thats Taylor covered?, where's ricky Lambert these days and why cant we get him because he's exactly what we need to get the goals. I think we have enough creativity in Antonnson, Sakhi, Roofe and Hernandez, we just need someone who will get on the end of things.

Think he is at West Brom in the reserves. Completely off form
