Good Morning Everyone,

Leon Britton is set to sign an extension at Swansea. The soon to be 34 year old will sign a one year extension.

We know that Cellino is not keen on older players. Perhaps he is giving Monk a free reign?

No more news on Bridcutt, Fletcher and Roofe.

The word is, 3m is over the top for Roofe however talented the div 2 player of the year is, thoughyou will recall when the Saints bought Ricky Lambert from Bristol Rovers, we too were sniffing around, but could not pay the 1m transfer fee, so bought Paynter to ER instead.

The less about that the better...

Britton not consistent enough, we dodged a bullet there. Although you would expect Monk to know a bit about centre backs. Morning all from an overcast Basingstoke. El, whats it like in saaafhampton?

Morning Bucks, a bit overcast, but the sun is trying to come out...

Morning all.
Are we just living in an inflated market now a days regarding football transfers?
Is the lunacy of the premiership money filtering down to all levels?

NO ITS NOT

The problem is that over half the teams in our league have Prem experience and parachute money, so everyone lower down wants some. We due to lack of vision, investment and fooking crap robbing skint owners are almost fighting with lower struggling championship clubs and well run league 1 clubs. The only 2 things we have is 1) Our name and history and 2) our brilliant following.

So we are worth more than the investment the club have put in for a dozen years, and the coonts dont deserve us. Hoping for a change in fortune under Monk

Morning Hamase, unfortunately not, 90 percent of the money says in the Prem. The lure of the Prem is enough for a lot of Championship clubs to gamble on promotion.
