Agree about him not being everyones cup of tea but it all comes down to stability. He has earned himself the chance to be given the first few months of the season surely. He came in and did more than reach is minimum target of avoiding relegation. This enough should be a reason to extend his contract. I am having nightmares at the moment that Zenga might get the job. That would break me I think. I was bothered by Hockaday but willing to give him a chance as it was an experiment, one that failed miserably obviously. Getting Zenga would be the equivalent again and I could not face it a second time.
I think Sherwood is ok as a manager but I like him more for the reason I think he is one of the few out there who would stand up to Cellino, he very same reason he will never get the job though. Grayson has said he will never work with Cellino I believe and this is a problem for me has I still hold Larry in high regard. He did a brilliant job with us under difficult circumstances and has done really well with Preston. I like the way Robinson plays football and maybe with better players than he had at MK, which surely we have at Leeds, he could be a top manager. Really likeable guy as well in the way he comes across.
Standing up to Cellino is no good though.. Look at how Cellino treats his coaches, Redfearn and his number two were treated awful, no debating if he was a good coach or not he was continually undermined and then 5 Cellino signings mysteriously went down with an illness. The root of all our problems is certain players not respecting the coach, until Cellino allows the coach to kick ass and get nasty.... You know what, I can't be bothered to finish the sentence, Cellino is never going to change, this is our lot
What if, seriously just what if; Cellino decided enough was enough, he had made promises he hadn't kept because of GFH still being involved. Sick of protests about him and lack of spending etc. What if he brought in a seriously top manager, not Jose but an experienced top manager. He then gave him the funds to rebuild and go for promotion. Would everyone still be on his case - Chipster? I wake up then and realise we're still a mid table Championship side with no leader.

You are right - they have been the best team in the division since Christmas - apart from being 7 points ahead of us (with a game in hand) and finishing a point behind us of course
But Millwall aren't a team........ The comment stands. Since when have we had to argue by using facts? In a chesh type change of subject have you got any tips for York tomorrow?
Keep them up in the championship.... But given that every club he has played for ends up in a low mid table position it's fair to say he has found his level.... Never be good enough to succeed in the prem.
Afternoon gents, Haven't read your board, so not sure if this has been covered already, but just in case, SkyBet have just slashed the odds of Karl Robinson being the next Leeds manager, from 33/1 to 1/1.
