Good Morning Everyone,

Is John Sheridan about to become our next Manager?

If the bookies are to be believed he is?

Last night the odds on the former 80's star tumbled to 1/6!

What kind of job could he do at Elland Road?

The biggest club he has managed so far is Oldham, it's quite a leap to the Championship, and a monumental leap to get out of the Championship (though Millwall made it look very easy ion the 14/15 season)

Here are the latest odds

Leeds United Manager First League Game 2016/17 Season
Next Permanent Manager Caretaker and interim managers completing at least 10 competitive games will be deemed the permanent manager
John Sheridan 1/6 Fabio Cannavaro 8/1 Steve Evans 10/1 Dougie Freedman 16/1
Walter Zenga 16/1 Simon Grayson 16/1 David Moyes 20/1 Nigel Pearson 20/1
Paul Clement 25/1 Steve McClaren 25/1 Steve Bruce 25/1 Roberto Di Matteo 33/1
Michael Appleton 33/1 Sinisa Mihajlovic 33/1 Chris Coleman 33/1 Alan Smith 40/1
Dennis Wise 40/1 Walter Mazzarri 40/1 Brendan Rodgers 40/1 Roberto Mancini 40/1
David O'Leary 40/1

Who would you like to see take the hot seat?

The retained list is still not out yet.

Who will release it?

Will Cellino wait until he appoints a new Manager?

Who would you keep?

Young keeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell is set for more talks with Leeds in next few days.

He's got until Sunday to make a decision on the offer of a two-year deal.

I really wish I could care about the ins and outs but only the deranged or deluded can think that Cellinos antics can be a good thing.:

1. The coach been treated so disrespectfully (no matter what you think of Evans), it has echoes of how McDermott was treated!
2. The lack of a recruitment / release plan for players ... just like two years ago
3. No plan for preseason... just like two years ago..... will we end up playing a pub team again (no, not Millwall)
4. No communication with the existing playing staff.... same as each year so far.

This is typical of the arrogance of the man and shows a complete lack of understanding on how and when things have to be done to succeed. I can se it now, second rate coach recruited because all the decent ones get snapped up. Emergency loan dross in September because we don't sign players.......... It's going to be just like the last two years..... Not that I expected anything different.

Morning Elland and all. Ill wait till new coach is in place before getting excited or otherwise.Bookies have got it wrong before. Nice to see we look like having a victory over Harvey and co at last. Their Thursday meeting should be an interesting one. Looks like once again, they're rulebook is about to be made look foolish

Personally I don't see what he's done as a manager to warrant being favourite to take over Leeds Utd. He was a legend in my eyes anyway on the pitch.

Am I missing something here?
Was it Harvey and Co that made Cellino import Yachts and Range Rovers via the back door to avoid paying tax?
All they did was apply the rules, which they are duty bound to do!

john sheridan was a great footballer so were quite a few more but very few make great managers.

Morning all

The idea of Sheridan doesn't fill me with confidence. They'll probably have a 30 minuet convo and Celino will declare him what ever he declared Hockawally. Do people expect Celino to treat managers with respect? He didn't do it with Redfearn either.

Morning Wolves, oh blimey.......

Ask yourself this question.

Since Cellino took over which poster has been the closest with their opinion on how things would pan out (don't include mighty although he was far closer than Boggers and chesh).

There is huge difference between grumpy and making honest accurate assessments based on previous history.
We will not finish in the top half of the championship next year. Because Cellino couldn't run a bath never mind a football club. How many times does he have to prove it to you guys before you accept it?

We're only days after the last game of the season, but i've got to admit my gutt feeling is I agree with Glory, i can see it being another farcical summer. Hope i'm wrong.

On a Shaun Harvey note...
Few weeks ago was going through some old photo's at my dads house and there was an old Wortley Boys team photo and who's on it, Penfold himself, although he had hair back then. Like my dad said who used to run the team, he was a d*ck head back then as well.
