So what amount of money do we all think Cellino is going to spend on the squad this summer 60m / 80m / 100m ?
5 to 10m will suffice. One thing's for sure, we will end up possibly pushing for promotion out of the championship & into the PL. Whereas the 'Wall will still be struggling to get out of L1.
a £3m player wants a million / million and a half wages each year and a 3 year contract. So a decent player will cost approx £7m inc. wages. so your 5m aint gonna go too far is it
Perspective Boogers - you will need to win twice as many home games, score twice as many goals and concede half as many goals to be anywhere near top 10 - 2 hopes !!
Funny Cagliari have been given permision to rebuild their stadium after years of bullshite from you know who Nope wrong mighty they have been given permission to build a brand new one
I want Millwall to come up,can see it now, last game of the season,we win to go up as champions sending millwall down at the same time.
After only 2 years of leaving Cagliari they are getting a brand new stadium 2 years after arriving at Leeds you are still struggling to pay your rent
Indeed Calliari are now reaping the rewards of all Cellino's hard work, and what's me struggling to pay the rent got to do with it ?
Whichever way you look at it, I think the pressure is on Cellino to deliver something that resembles a half decent football side next season with the realistic possibility of a top 6 finish. I am all for Evans staying on but the more I think about it, the first actual sign that Cellino is serious will be to sack Evans. It would be easier to keep him on and put the blame on him if things go wrong. Sacking him puts the pressure back on Cellino to get it right this time.....OR am I wrong and Cellino wouldn't want Evans getting all the praise for achieving a top 6 finish and his ego would rather he gets all the credit for pulling a rabbit out of the hat. One thing you can say is that it's never boring with the Italian at the helm. It's bloody hard trying to second guess what the man is going to do. If I was havfing a bet, it would be to sack Evans, Cook going nowhere and we invest around 10-12 million on three half decent players. Personally, I think that would be enough to challenge next season with what we already have. Everyone says how the league is going to be stronger next season and so on. I don't necessarily agree....there is a reason teams come down and that's because they are crap and there is a lot of dross in the Championship as well. 3 good players with what we already have and a coach who can get everyone singing from the same sheet and I am confident for next season.
