Wasn't Rosler's target to get into the top 10 this season? After he royally screwed that up, we should be forgiving if Evans cannot achieve that, given the start that Rosler made for us.
Afternoon, been out on the beer the last couple of nights. Personally, given all that is said about the size of the club etc, I think 10th if we make it is crap.
Must admit I'm beginning to wonder about this whole big club thing that were meant to be or we think we are. We're twelve years on the decline at least. Average crowds around 25k for that period. In that time, we've produced very few players that have gone on to the top half of the pl. our turnover is around 12m. All points to one thing I'm afraid. We once were big, we're now in the same bracket as a bunch of Championship teams like Ipswich, Wolves, Fulham, Blackburn etc. 10th is probably just about right for us
Eire, sadly everything in your post is right, for us to accept 10th, let alone set it as a good target is accepting mediocrity. Once we do that we'll never get back to the premier.
It's not about excepting it Leeds. It's just about being realistic and acknowledging that we aren't good enough..morning by the way.
Thats about it Shaks. Its pointless starting seasons rabbiting on about promotion when its completely unrealistic. Makes it much easier to accept season being over in January then
