Good Morning Everyone,

Antenucci is strongly considering leaving Leeds

The Italian hitman has several offers from Italian clubs and is weighing up a January exit.

Ascoli, Novara, Bari and Cagliari are all monitoring the situation.

Has Ant been given a fair chance this season?

Antenucci's contract expires in June. You may recall that Leeds decided not and Leeds did not to extend his two-year deal last season.

Anthony Stokes is the latest striker to emerge as a January transfer target.

The Celtic star has been frozen out of the first-team picture at Parkhead under coach Ronny Deila, and he is desperate for first team football.

We tried to sign the Republic of Ireland international striker at the begining of the season, but Celtic were having none of it.

He would ideally like a loan move to England to kick-start his season.

One player who Leeds have ruled coming to Elland Road is Peter Crouch. His wage structure is too high...

Morning Matt and all. Hope nobody leaves until we've new players in place first. Squad is thin enough and especially strikers. They're like hens teeth around Elland road at the minute. As for Stokes, they're a good striker in there but he's not worth the baggage he'll likely bring. Has caused problems everywhere he's been. As usual, I'm not fussed till end of transfer window and see where we stand. Presume it'll be the usual last day hoping for Messi to change his mind and at last make his Yorkshire move

Morning Elland, morning all...

As a few others have said, January isn't the best time to go and find yourself a new striker, they are either going to be non match fit and unproven or they will come with some baggage and issues, proven prolific scorers do not become available at this time of year for a price we can afford.

Lafferty on paper looks awful, the youtube links makes him look better and his free kicks look awesome but then youtube can make anyone look good... I guess it is trust Evans and see how it goes. Evans wanted Wootton at Rotherham and surely but slowly Wootton is getting better for us.

Outward I would much rather see Doukara leaving, his 40 minutes the other week was a one off, Antenucci will get us 15 goals a season, not enough if we wish to be challenging but useful to avoid the wrong end of the table.

If we want promotion we need better players than Antenucci, if we are happy plodding then keep him. More of a concern will be who we replace Byram with, a few weeks back it would not have mattered, now he seems to have rediscovered his form so it will be a shame to lose him.

Morning all <ok>

I like Ante and think he has been a bit of a victim of formation, and as Ristac said he would easily bag you 15 plus a season if not. Good luck to him.

Am I the only one on here that seems to rate Lafferty?

I saw him a few times for Northern Ireland and he looked very good. But not really seen enough to rate him.

On Antenucci. Sell him if he wants out. He's going at the end of the year anyway and I wouldn't renew his contract. He can score some nice goals but he isn't the best.

Afternoon all

It looks like we are going to get more than the expect 4. You do wonder if we are going for a super face lift.

ON Antenucci, I would rather see Duke go as i think he's useless however with only 6 months to go on his contract, let's just cash in and get new players in

Good morningTo Matt and co from a damp Bardsey
Well we will know today whether or not we will sign a new winger and from rumours its Nathan Dyer a very tricky player who will be a great acquisition in my opinion only just 28 has vast experience and would be available on loan
So we have Laffertry Bridcutt and Dyer quite an exciting trio and that may just lift us into the top half of the table,I would like young Cummings as well to feed off Lafferty
Looks like Ant and Belusci are heading home and if we recoup what we paid fair enough'That leaves us needing a right back and a centre back
We will see if MC means business now

Afternoon Mike

Phil Hay saying Bridcutt paperwork done - if so that is fantastic. Not seen much of Lafferty and his stats don't look all that but Evans has been after him for a long while as he was with Bridcutt so I will trust him on that. Dyer would be really interesting, I know we are after a winger but read somewhere else that it is a youngster from Oxford, let's see. Not in the slightest bit unhappy if Bellusci and Ant go but, exactly as you say, we will certainly be seeing if Cellino means business very soon. Finally, just read that Glover has gone to Sunderland to re-join big Sam so we are looking for a new Head of Recruitment - get your CV in lad - you could make your dream about Cummings turn into reality :emoticon-0148-yes:

Vinney Jones is 51 today.

Very kind Marcus but Evans hasn't had the decency to reply to my latter when I recommended that we looked at McCauley Bonne from Colchester so I doubt he would even read my letter as a certain member from Harrogate said .There are bargains to be had and they are not always overseas we just need to look for them

But if you were Head of Recruitment he would have to listen to you!!!
