It was a fairly light hearted attempt to get you in a good mood, I obviously don't have the right tools for the job!
A fair sentiment. Sam would be the biggest loss IMO, and we should do something about it. The last 2 games has seen him played in a roving role across the park, and he's taken to it like a duck to water. He was pobably our biggest threat again. Cook is a dirty little barsteward and I love him. There was a phase in the second half where 3 crunching tackles in a row went in - Cook, Murphy & Bridcutt (can't remember the order), and the crowd cheered each one, getting louder in their appreciation as the sequence progressed. I like Bridcutt, but don't think he would be as big a loss. The impact he has brought is not all down to him - it's the new postion Evans has introduced, that Bridcutt is occupying for now. Next season, I have no doubt in my mind that Philips coud make the position his. For the record, Evans said on the radio that he has plans for 4 players to arrive in January. He was even scouting himself at the Florist game. He's given the names to Celino & says that Cellino has been on the phone. He knows this as he knows the managrs concerned & has had feedback. He mentioned 'PL managers' specifically, but it kinda contradicted his 'scouting at Florist' statement. We may have done enough to encourage Cellino to dip his hand into his pocket. I wonder if Big Sam got called about buying Bridcutt.
Its LUFC, and being happy go ****ing lucky isn't good!!!! It's the hope that kills people. My mood is as good as it gets, short of the Mrs declaring she is moving out and Lara Lewington moving in!!!!!
Morning Eire, 3 points is 3 points. We didn't deserve it on the day, but when you take into consideration the amount of decisions that havn't gone our way, we deserved a bit of luck
Morning Boggers, Cellino needs to bring in 3 quality players in January to stand half a chance of the play offs
Morning Doha, Preston were the stronger of the two sides in the second half. Don't they say its more difficult playing against 10 men
I disagree. Cellino needs to phark off. Bookmark this: We are overdue another Cellino inspired crisis and it's coming. As previously seen as soon as we recover from one crisis he starts another!
Santa is about to send christmas presents. Bucks is getting one, Matt isn't. Santa needs to know has Adam been good this year?
Morning Glory, Bridcutt is only on loan, if we can do a swap deal to let Sam go to Sunderland, Bridcutt to sign for us, and maybe for us to get 1.5m in the process, we've done alright out of it.
I would have to disagree. There is no defence for the keeper. If you look at Woods head, he has positioned his head to make contact with the ball at that moment. Keeper is well outside his box with both his arms stretched out.
Morning WJ, Didn't Kilkenny get a good reponse from the Leeds fans? Re the Keeper. So you're saying either way, it was a red card?
Whitejock, it's only ball to hand if the persons arms aren't flailing around like a complete lunatic regardless of the distance.
It's really hard to tell if it did hit his arm though. I've watched it 0.5 speed and thought it did then 0.25 and wasn't sure again. Who care anyway the keeper was being suicidal.
