But it is the mate or at least associate of at least two who post on here fairly regularly.....
One of them knows all about it and the other has family who move in the same circles that are wealthy enough to be possibly part of things in some way.

Ok, I dont expect you to divulge anything on a public forum naturally but is this someone capable financially of driving the club forward on their own or a consortium effort because there have been many of the latter type mentioned over past few years and nothing materialised from any of them. Surely if this person wants due dilligence that sounds as though hes a lone buyer. Not taking the urine this time, just curious

 

He and his backers say they have the funds......
But they dont trust Cellino to play with a stright bat.
It's a mix of wealthy people and even wealthier backers , proper buisnees people who know how to conduct themselves properly.
Not my ideal idea of a transparent good ownership model and I am not sure it would work.
But I can understand given the history why they are wary of Cellino and his antics.

Are they serious, can they afford it? i don't know.
Will it happen? No idea
