I'm certainly no expert on persuading someone to follow a team! I've recently just been let into the family secret (they didn't know how to tell me!) - it would appear that I've failed miserably to get my grandson to support Leeds. :( Next one is due in May, so will start buying him Leeds merchandise from day 1.
Who does the grandson support or is it safe to ask <whistle>

Did you introduce him to grandad Mike?

It was all my fault. I knew he wasn't interested in football. I knew we didn't play football. I thought therefore that buying him LUFC kit, burgers, drinks etc. would entice him so he could suffer like I do.

Didn't realise that he was as smart as he is! <doh>

He ain't even a £1mill player. He is just another identikit huffer and puffer.
Why do so many of you keep believing we have all these world beaters.
Not one of our current squad will ever play more than thirty games in the top flight of any major league.

I have to say that our league position suggests that at the very least our youngsters are overhyped rather than useless.
I watched the Tottenham v West Ham game and the Spurs their young players were light years ahead.
Fair perhaps to say the crop of Woodgate were far better than the Howson lot, who seemed more ready than the current group.

Harry Kane,Vardy and Barkley were all at Cooks stage only 18 months ago and looked no better, who knows if he and others can step up.Having seen Delph on his return to Leeds, didn't think he would get to the top.
