For the record, I'm pretty sure I read that GFH only have 22%, not 25% as everyone assumes.

Ok. 39.1% to be head honcho and means dickhead still can't stay as needs less than 30% for ffp not to apply.

Anyone who has 51% of a company can do what he likes, no one can overrule him, even if all other shareholders gang up.

50/50 partners often fall out and block one another's initiatives.

If you were going to sink millions into something, where would you want to be?

    It's rarely an even 50/50. If anything, it's 50% +1 share / 50% -1 share.

Ok, understand - same thing in the end. Makes you wonder who'd put the same dosh in for less power though.

Someone confident they're going to make a killing without having to do any work? (aka a sleeping partner).

Thinking about it - if Cellino does sell & makes some dosh out of it, he'll have earned it. I doubt if any Chairman has put in the time that he has, or faced as many problems in such a short time (Glory being one of them! :D).

Sometimes it is possible to be too subtle, something you know only too well.

Hope he has a stand ticket organized. Wouldn't want him catching cold. Lot of clubs lining up to take our wonderful international star on loan

In fairness, the guy is at a huge disadvantage. How the hell, could you be a professional footballer with a name like Casper Sloth <doh>

Morning all. I think Parkin wants to buy 51% of Cellino's shares, leaving Cellino with 24% of the club and GFH the rest giving him the controlling interest.
If it happens what changes? Does Parkin have access to funds to buy & pay better players, buy back ER etc. I guess at the very least Cellino will no longer have an influence on the team and transfers.
