Did he verbally offer exclusivity? From reading the thwaites interview it sounds like it was his interpretation... 'I only want to sell to Leeds fans' is not the same as I only WILL sell to LFU.

Cellino shoots from the hip and changes his mind every 5 minutes... But looks like LFU jumped the gun a bit. Maybe he hasn't reacted well to them forcing his hand/calling his bluff. Maybe he just got a better offer over the weekend, maybe the moon is rising in Saturn.

Probably makes diddly difference in the long run as if he sells it will be to whoever he feels like selling to on any given day he feels like selling. Think lfu should have conducted their side in private not public, though I understand why they didn't.

They have nowhere near enough funds hence why they jumped on to the media band wagon trying to raise awareness and in the hope a big investor was going to step forward, it was never going to get off the ground...

However... Cellino even saying he would be willing to sell might be enough to attract someone who is serious and who might have the funds to come out of the woodwork. Hopefully GFH are watching closely and as we are looking a bit of a mess maybe they would be willing to cash out too.

appreciate that ristac... like I said I understand why they did it and maybe they felt it was the only way to advertise for investors, or more likely to get the other known interested parties to believe they would need to join forces with LFU to get in... but frankly it all looked a bit pushy to me.

LFU jumped the gun and put it out there when MC wanted it kept tight and closed until an agreement had been reached in principle. MC will already have someone in the background who wants the club and he won't just walk away without a profit after the cash and time he invested. LFU were always going to struggle getting the funds and a few wealthy backers would dilute things and be a nightmare to govern as too many ideas, thoughts and directions etc

It will be sold but who to and when no idea

To my mind he has been offered more £ so being a business man he forgot he had promised to sell to the fans who he thought wouldn't raise it
.So he's gone back on his word I don't like that

That's good if they get their money back. Sadly, it was never going to happen, too much paperwork to verify and £500k might not have been enough.

Why is Cellino taking l the flak for his refusal to sell? He clearly came to an agreement in principle to sell to LFU. That's all. He said he'd sell to them, but he wasn't tied down to definitely selling to them & only them! Jeez!

He's described LFU as being like kids in a sweet shop. So clearly, they weren't supposed to make the agreement public. They did (& drew in more money than they had before - in a day! Coincidence? I think not!).

I'm not surprised that Cellino isn't selling to them. And I'm glad. If this is them trying to make a deal, Gawd help us if they did take over. Can you imagine the incompetence? They've already announced in the press that they were seeking exclusivity. Sorry chaps, I'm no financial expert, but even I know you have to prove you've got the money before you see the books, and then you have to pay an extra sum to get exclusivity! Are these guys for real?

It's LFU that should be getting slated here, not Cellino. For all his faults, he's behaved correctly every step of the way here. LFU think they're talking to their mates in the pub, not being publicly accountable leaders. Feckin' amateur hour. Thought they were a bunch of idiots, but they didn't have to go out of their way to make it so bleedin' obvious.

Morning Eire, Cardiff were really poor last night. we weren't much better, but we were better, and therefor deserved the win...

The amount of times passes were going astray from the normally reliable Whittingham, Noone and Co...

Pleased Pelts is doing a sterling job there.... <laugh>

We put in a far better performance than that comments suggests, that Cardiff were poor but our intensity made sure of that
