Good Morning Everyone,
In the same way that it is important for children to believe in Santa Clause, it is imperative that football fans can believe in their club.
It is very difficult to do that when you go one down in 17 seconds!
Why shouldn't we believe against the odds that Evans' men were able to defeat the mighty Blackburn; a team that until last night had not scored a goal in three games, and should have been low on confidence.
Cellino had taken control of the stadium’s pre-match music. The Leeds team were sent out last night to the sound of D:Ream’s Things Can Only Get Better. Was that supposed to be a joke?
It seemed we had gone back to our old ways with the 'long ball' We might as well have had Danny De Vito as the target man.
Does anyone think we could get 1m for Wood. Perhaps we could swap him for some magic beans?
Not sure if the goals were Silvestri's fault but Evans said after the game that he didn't get the PL keeper he was after. Says the keeper isn't fit but will be available in the few weeks. He's going to look elsewhere.
Phil Hay summed it up perfectly last night with his final post :-
The bottom line with [HASHTAG]#lufc[/HASHTAG] seems to be this: no-one outside the club has any confidence in any of the people in it. Chronic disillusionment.
