No it just a sixth sense that I have when it comes to deals and I feel with Stone going to Chelsea or City Everton will be the club who will surely not balk £10m and as I suggested if we buy Darikwa its nailed on!
What makes you think this Darikwa is so good? Have you ever seen him play? He'll be 24 later this year, has only made just over 100 games for Chesterfield plus a couple of loans at Barrow and Hinckley - not exactly inspiring. Also there doesn't seem to be many clubs clamouring for his services- can't really see what there is to get excited about. This is where we've gone wrong in the past, selling established young players and replacing them with untried unknowns who aren't up to the task. It's important we keep hold of Byram, not only is he quality for this division it would be a real show of intent.
Sorry, but no matter what kind of prospect this guy is, he's untried in the Championship, and as I understand it, he's a RB or RWB - not a winger. This is not an adequate replacement for Byram in my view. Remember, most of our attacking initiative goes through Byram, plus he's now beginning to think automatically as a forward. It would be back to square one with this guy. Future replacement, perhaps. Replacement, not a chance!
He's probably been rolled back into the sea by some do-gooders, thinking he's a whale! (I know, pot ... kettle .... black).
My sixth sense tells me that Cellino would have extended Byram's contract if he was going to sell him, as it raises the fee. He has previous on this & I'm quietly confident that it's actually a positive sign for this season that he hasn't signed yet.
Can I just confirm that I have nothing to do with this. I only produce Boggers "Old Knee Wabbler. A fine ale, not this girlie port
Hoping you are right, it would be nice to get through a transfer window and pre-season without any negative drama and the only outgoings being the ones all fans actually agree on.
Thanks for concern Doc, Im back. Got stuck in one of those rubber ring thingys on a lazy river. Had to shred it to escape
Burnley and Preston have agreed a fee to sign Chesterfield defender Tendayi Darikwa, the player is in talks with both clubs.
Irony mode# So I was right when I said this days ago. Can everyone form an orderly queue to praise my deep knowledge of all things football... # irony mode off At least ****wit can stop banging on about it now(perhaps).

Evening All. Why should Cellino be there watching the player. Is this not the role of our "head of recruitment"??
In that case I bow to you good sir..... Now don't forget to bang on about it for weeks in every thread. We are not worthy of you.
