Good Morning Everyone,

Leeds United could face a transfer embargo over their contract dispute with Blues winger Cameron Stewart.

The 24-year-old was awarded £800,000 following an FA arbitration hearing held the previous month.

According to the Daily Mirror, the PFA are planning to request that the Football League prevent Leeds from signing any further players until the cash is paid and the matter resolved.

Not all the signatories were still at the club, including former managing director David Haigh, who had moved on in the April after falling out with club president Massimo Cellino when the the contract was lodged with the Football League.

Cellino then refused to get the paperwork re-signed, pulled the plug on the deal and subsequently claimed that the contract was invalid.

However the PFA did not see it that way, and awarded Steward £800,000.

Leeds have appointed Julian Darby as the club's new first-team coach.

Darby, 47, who has had coaching roles at Preston, Derby, Nottingham Forest (twice) and Bolton, has been taking pre-season training this week.

He joins head coach Uwe Rosler in Leeds' new-look coaching set-up and assistant head coach Rob Kelly, with whom Darby worked alongside during his second spell at Forest.

Former Brentford and Wigan boss Rosler succeeded Neil Redfearn at the end of May and Kelly arrived as his assistant earlier this month.

Mornin Elland and all. No shortage of coaches now eh. Any further news on that Redfern lad?
Might as well pay the 800k if it's been awarded. What a waste. Another BMcd fantastic signing was cameron

Morning Eire, I have to say fair play to Cellino for trying to squeeze out of the contract.

Loads of coaches, yeah, and they all know what they are doing...

Morning all

Let's give Cameron the money and forget the whole episode. Easiest thing to do.

Nice to see we've a coaching set up that looks good and has British experience. This is a lot better that having some non-league manager coaching the team with Celino picks the playing team week in week out

Morning Wolves, but how much should he get. I thought the ruling was 500k, but read this article...

David Haigh had signed the contract, but as he had left the club in April he was therefore no longer registered as an ‘authorised signatory’.

Cellino then refused to get the paperwork re-signed, pulled the plug on the deal and subsequently claimed that the contract was invalid.

Good morning to Matt and co from a sunny Bardsey albeit a very noisey one caused by the lads taking out the cavity wall insulation day 3
Lets hope we hear of this new boy signing Brandon Barker and then the swap deal between either Forest or Sheff United re Jamiue Patterson or Jamie Ward and Billy Sharp.I can see why Patterson who looks very promising to me will be surplus to requirements after Forest signed Jamie Ward from Derby on a free this will give them some much needed income
If we really need to sign some experienced midfield player as my suggestion seemed to go down like a lead balloon I wouldn't mind John Eustace always a proper professional causes no trouble and scores vital goals he still as far as I'm aware not signed for Rangers after leaving Derby you see I do listen!
So with Barker Murphy/ Patterson AND Eustace I think unless we sell Byram and replace him with Dakirwa the squad is complete perhaps you have other ideas incidentally if you read my report re Murphy I clearly stated that Stewart was not suitable for our club my words if I remember them were ;like a rabbit caught in headlights they would have saved themselves a great deal of trouble if they had listened .Hope my spellings have not offended anyone nor my terrible grammar although reading other peoples comments make me laugh as they spend there time swearing which I find unnecessary

we may only need one winger?
"They've responded very well," he said. "They're improving day by day and we're looking forward to continuing the work with a good group of players."

One player to have caught Rosler's eye is Nicky Ajose, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Crewe.

Rosler added: "Everyone has a chance. I mention Nicky Ajose, who turned up here and ran everybody into the ground.

"He's very well prepared in pre-season and if he can bring that on to the pitch in the practice games, the boy has a chance."

Shut up Mike.

I agree though re: Eustace - I'd take him on a 1 year deal without question. Quality player.

Bollox to that, it's written into the Irish constitution to swear, it's our legal right........ Afternoon TheDon.......<ok>

I don't for a minute believe there is a Leeds United fan in the world that doesn't swear <laugh>
