Evening 60. Have to politely disagree. A rogue yes (question able if it's loveable) but a bad manager?? Sorry but cut it at Bournemouth before the money came in. Took West Ham to their highest finish, won Portsmouth their only trophy in donkeys years and got spurs to fourth time and last 16 of the champions league. I could use a poor manager like that at Leeds.
Evening lads, I don't really like him as a person, but at our level he would be class,if he keps his gob shut, and doesn't slap people at chippys.
Really agree with this. Has done half decent jobs in the past but normally coming into underperforming teams. He basically destroys every club after he's left. May have been better when he was younger but last few years especially he seems a little clueless to me.
He's 32. I also don't think he's all moaning either. He strikes me as a player that his twitter account does no good for him because he constantly wants to give his opinion on all things football and be a bit controversial with his views. Football players really should be banned from social media imo. to protect themselves more than anything else. No, I don't want players playing out of position. Wouldn't be against trying it on the odd occasion when we have injuries but to be honest think Bamba or even Bellusci would be better suited.
Josh see your point re social media but thats the way the world is,why should he or anyone not be free to speak their minds? If people don't like other peoples opinion they should just man up,feckin sick of this pc world. Dickheads exist in all walks of life,we've all met them ,and worked with them. Some tho are good at their job and worth having on a team.
Well we banned it before. From memory the reason was because Davide Somma posted details about his injury that the club wanted to handle in a more delicate way. So Simon Grayson decided it was reasonable just to ban players from social media. In fairness its probably not the way to do it. Point is though, a lot of players get unfair abuse from fans. I was reading a lot about how bad Bellusci is currently getting abuse. It cannot possible bode well for his confidence. So many issues arise because of it, I guess you can't really just ban it outright but it'd solve a lot of problems before they start imo.
I believe that QPR outlay per se was greater than the top teams in Europe so it doesn't reflect to me that he is a good manager he just loves spending owners money. This could be said too of his time in Portsmouth which left the club penniless would you risk all that to win the FA Cup I agree he did well at West Ham and Spurs but again at what cost did he make money for the clubs I suppose he must have done at West Ham because we bought Ferdinand. He ruined Taarbat the lad looked really the real deal now they have trouble giving him away he just didn't know how to handle him Southampton someone said he got them relegated I doubt it he would have before that happened
Harry is a good manager hand has proved it over the years the way he has wheeled and dealed to improve teams. His problem is that he is bent and has his contracts based upon a share of sale money he gets for players when he moves them on. So he has a lot of staff turnover whilst he 'improves' the side which means a lot of players sold on to fill his bank account and we know that he has taken plenty of brown envelopes from agents. Pompey were doing well under him and the problem there was the club being sold on to a skint Russian who did what the dicked at Hearts did. The bloke who sold the club has sold clubs plenty of times like he was recently at the wendies
