Erm how old was Matt Smith at the time. I maintain that LUFC have never signed anyone as old as originally clained in post 218 of the thread this started on. Anyone want £50 on it? I think you might find it was ristac who mainly called into question the verasity of the Smith claim (although I agree with him, even given the post above).. I we had signed every player Mike had said was worth a punt we would now be bankrupt. That post doesnt indicate that he was involved in recommending him to the club as was also originally claimed, nor would it prove they took any notice.. Come on boys you need to do better than that!
