You're absolutely right KIWI, but would happen only if we lost, things can work both ways.

Should Redders have played Adryan and Sloth out wide, changed the formation to 442 to accommodate 2 attackers, and, if we had won Redders would've got the plaudits, which I'm sure he would've played on.

Redders changed the formation after the Sunderland game, to be honest it hasn't really been that successfull despite the results. We drew games, either coming from behind or allowing the other team to equalise, we've won scrappy games at 1-0 because we can't / don't know how to go for the jugular and kill a game.

We've had luck with deflected shots, and bad luck with crappy refs, and the performances haven't improved 1 notch with the exception of the Reading game where we only went up one notch.

As Olof also mentioned, Redders needs to put his hands up on some things and accept the responsibility instead of blaming all and sundry but not himself.

There are managers out there who recognise their problems and are willing to share it with the media, they know how to say things without blaming everyone and everything else.

Josh I believe mentioned, Redders doesn't see what the fans can see, I agreed and furthered that comment with, Redders purposely turns a blind eye then makes excuses for his actions.

QUOTE="kiwi, post: 7652006, member: 1015041"]"We were nothing like we can be, we looked a little jaded and as though we had played to the max in the last few games. We made bad decisions in possession, didn't press Brighton enough, and didn't break with menace."

He mentions tiredness as a contributing factor, but he acknowledges Brighton were better, and that we made poor decisions, didn't press and didn't counter effectively. We looked lethargic yesterday. Is that Redfearn's fault for not rotating? Quite possibly, but as you said - they're professional athletes. They should be capable of playing three games in a week at a high intensity. Don't really see how it's an excuse, he's just said we looked jaded. What do you want[/QUOTE]

How many coaches / managers are good enough to see if some of, or all of their players are tired at training, most of the good ones.

He would've noticed tired players during training, if they were tired Saturday, they would've been showing signs of fatigue during training the Friday before, that's when a good coach / manager knows when to rotate some players. Redders only seems to rotate when he has injured or suspended players, or he is forced to as per the Sunderland game.

As Olof also mentioned, Brighton have played the same amount of games, why weren't they jaded and knackered?

Ellandback mentioned, we have something like 15 midfielders, so why not give some players rests and rotate occasionally?

Redders is always going on about wingers, but he won't try anything or anyone, he just keeps moaning like it's not his fault, and playing his favourites.

Don Revie.......said humorously, but he comes very close.

Kiwi, this is arm around the shoulder stuff,<hug> just don't get too close. Redders was playing a striker (the wandering nomad) who's never looked like scoring, doesn't know what goal posts look like and moaned and groaned cos he wasn't getting any playing time, and hasn't scored in the 9 games he played.

Could Redders decision to continually play him be only one of the reasons we haven't gone for the jugular and killed games off in past? absolutely imo.

Port Solent. Yeah, used to be the going place 20 years ago or so, but has been gradually going down hill year on year. Only half the shops survive now. A new complex opened in Portsmouth called Gunwharf Quays which completely overshadows Port Solent now.

Got my taste card, but nothing on it I liked, so booked Fridays. Rack of ribs with Jack Daniels sauce, OHHHHH YESSSSSS...

IMO......Cani is a big girl's blouse, Sharp is hot and cold, Doukara is useless and Antenucci is sulking, Morison tries hard but he ain't a striker, so we are relying on the other's to score goals.
