Good Morning Everyone,

Leeds fans are set to stage a protest against unfair treatment by the Football League.

The protest will take place outside the league’s head office in Preston next Tuesday, 6th January.

In a statement, the organisers of the protest said: “Whilst we respect that the Football League has a duty of care and responsibility towards its member clubs to look after their ‘best’ interests, we refuse to accept how recent decisions can be in the ‘best’ interests of Leeds United Football Club with regards the ownership of Leeds United Football Club.”

The statement stressed next week’s event would take the form of a “peaceful protest”. It also said the demo had received the approval of the police in Preston. Leaflets publicising the protest were distributed outside Elland Road before United’s Boxing Day game against Wigan Athletic.

Since moving on loan to Bristol City, Matt Smith has netted twice in two games.
Is anyone going to try and tell me that Smith is not as good as Morison or Hunt?

Does anybody think we can do the double over Derby tomorrow. A rare away win tomorrow will see bookies fork out 7/1. Surely thats worth a punt?

Good morning Matt from a chilly sunny Cote De Bardsey
We need a matt smith and my understanding is Pavoretti at 6 feet 2 can do just that .I am very pleased that Matt has found his feet again nothing went right for him at Fulham I thought he is more missed than Ross because of what he brought to the table ,heading threats at free kicks and corners we havent scored a headed goal this season!
I still look forward to our new recruits just to shut up the snipers the Lord Haw Haws that knock every thing Cellino is trying to do
I would like to see a mid field general and KHRIN HAS been mentioned to fill this job and finally Knockeart a skill full winger to operate on the left

Morning Elland and all. Of course Smith is as good as Hunt and Morisson. Difference is, no one would pay money for the other two hence Smith gets shown the door. Im heading away with mrs Eire for a couple of days. Derby fiasco will be on tv but in interest of not getting into a foul mood, Im going to try avoid watching the game. One plus with Cellino at the helm, at least there will be January signings and he will try to improve team, whether it works or not is another matter. What was point in having protest when everyone will have returned to work. Surely this week would have attracted much more interest?

Morning Mike,

Damn cold in Southampton too. Got frost on my car today...

Don't know why we let Smith go, even more puzzling why Fulham don't want him. He only played 3 games.

We certainly need a big target man, and someone who can hold the ball up.

What was Hockaday thinking signing Sharp?

Have we really not scored a headed goal all season?

Morning Eire, I'm sure we could have palmed off Moro back to Millwall?

And talking about the Bermandsey lot, I see they lost again yesterday. I don't fancy their chances much of staying up. The Leeds - Wall game should be a cracker

I liked Smith and was surprised he was sold and yes I thought and still think he could have done a job for us, maybe not as a 9o min player but certainly as an option to bring on. I will be very surprised if we can get even a draw out of tomorrows game, if the Rams score early, it could be an embarrassing 90 mins live on TV, not really looking forward to it.:(

Its Christmas Shaks, and miracles do happen.

But you have to believe.

Do you believe??????

We did and he got sent off in his first match back, against W.Ham I think....;)
Thik it was. I remember him get pushed into the advertising boards, and came back up looking like he'd done 12 rounds with Mike Tyson. Think that was against Spurs
