Really Chippy you cant see wood for the trees we are beating the better teams so it wont be long before we start winning away Redders is still a novice at the game but he will get better and if we can find that elusive balance we will be alright
The winner usually in the premiership is the won who wins most points over his nearest rivals I thought yo would have know this

Fair question Elland. Have we signed them or are they both on loan?

Glory forget the dispute with 60 and ask yourself the following 2 questions:

    1) Over the last 3 seasons do I feel better about the standard of football or not, do I like watching the ball being lumped up front and bypassing midfield.

    2) Over the last 3 seasons which players exited me, Tonge, Hunt, Barndoor Billy ........ or some of this new crop.

I think you would have to say that you like the football we're trying to play now and that we have some potentially exiting talent now and in the future, over the boring carthorse dross of the last few seasons. (Ross excluded)

What has the premiership got to do with anything? Leaving aside that your point is incorrect over four of the last six seasons we are currently a side in the championship, and at the current rate of "improvement" we will be relegated.
Your logic is we must be better cos we beat better sides? Well by the same rule we must be worse cos lesser sides are now beating us.

When Utd won in 2010/11 they did not win a single away game against ANY team in the top 10

    2nd Chelsea lost 2-0
    3rd Man City drew 0-0
    4th Arsenal lost 1-0
    5th Spurs drew 0-0
    6th Liverpool lost 3-1
    7th Everton drew 3-3
    8th Fulham drew 2-2
    9th Villa drew 2-2
    10th Sunderland drew 0-0

I can't be arsed going back any further, but I think it's safe to say that you are about as right as you friend from Cheshire usually is <laugh>

What we are trying to play is better, but our midfield and defence are s**te and it doesn't matter how attractive we are with the ball if we don't get it back till the opposition have got to our box and had a shot.

Press and tackle it's not difficult, but we don't do it.

TC you must get your facts right if you state them last season Manchester City got 7 points not 3 from playing 6 games against the other top teams

We lack discipline thats why we keep giving away silly penalties and Pearce is just too slow. The reason why we lost against poor opposition such as Brighton was purely down to the coach who picked the wrong team lets face it if you take the number of games Darko and Dave had the form was so bad we would have got relegated,As I keep saying Redders is still a novice but to his credit he out thought Maclaren an old England manager so hats off to him

If you believe it is the coach that picks the team, you really need to wake up <ok>

    Right my coup de grace
    this season results
Hockaday played 4 lost three one won points 3
    Darko
played 6 won none lost 3 drawn 3 points 3
so from 10 games we accumulated 6 points thats relegation form I agree
    Redders played 10 won 5 drawn 2 lost 3 17 points thats a top 6 finish
I now rest the case that Glory is deluded at best

If that is the best you have then you really need to stop. We have taken 8 points from our last 8 games. Redders in charge for all of them. A point a game gets you relegated. We have maintained our point a game average in our three most recent games, even though you say we are better against better teams.

The hole is deep enough. Put the shovel down and walk away from it.
