So long as we recall Michael Brown to flatten the opposition and Barndoor Billy to score the goals, all will be well in Boggersland!!!
Thanks for that Savage was trying to wind him up as well like and he didn't fall for it, he probably will be Leeds manager within 25 years at the rate we are going through managers now too!
Might not take 25 years to get round! I've cleared August-October 2015 in my calendar for my shot at the big time
Fooking do gooders. Screw up their event because they are over charging and expect to be bailed out. It's a worthy cause must have been ****tily organised.
Would have to disagree on that one Leeds60,he's made big improvements in the last 12 months,is still very young, and was 1 of very few who played ok at Millwall.Created what would have been an easy goal had he passed to anyone bar Hunt. One for next season maybe ?
Eire makes an excellent point about coach appointments being the one key area Cellino is falling flat on, and he's right ... the problem of course is that it doesn't matter who Cellino appoints, as long as he continues to play Football Manager and interferes with selection and tactics, his coaches will struggle to build a successful team ... Redders genuinely did get lucky in his last stint, and Milanic's teams played so much better and controlled games better ... with Redders shots were going in and opposition were hitting Silvestri, with Milanic shots were hitting the oppo keeper and their efforts were beating Silvestri ... very fine margins indeed, so it makes you wonder if El Presidente actually understands football? Totally agree, for anyone who truly believe Cellino does not interfere then ask yourself how an owner can get it wrong when it comes to appointing a coach 40 times in 22 years. Does anyone know if ANY coach Cellino has appointed have actually lasted a full season? Is he signing players who are not as good as he believes they are? Is he constantly signing crap coaches or is it him having far too much of a say.
That is a good question. Watford seem to be doing the same as us with no affect on their results and stay joint top. So have they better players or employing better managers / coaches?? If Cellino is selecting the team then he seemed to do it okay last time Redfearn was in charge so does that suggest the Hock and Darko can't get the same out of the players. Mind you if Cellino is picking the team I can't help feeling more of the players he bought would be in it. I don't know is the simple answer but everyone only raises his interference on selection when we hit a losing run. Isn't possible that he just sets out the style of play he wants to see. Swansea do that. Their chairman said he only hires mangers that buy into the way he wants the team to play not one who wants to do it their way.
Not sure I agree with that. I'm not for one second saying that I wanted to see Darko sacked because I really do believe that we should've at least given him the chance to adjust to the championship a bit but compare the Udders game and the Wolves game for example. Darko is happy to defend the 1 goal advantage whereas Redders has a much more attacking approach where he is happy for the team to go and try and score a couple more. We seemed to have a more attacking mindset under Redders whereas Darko sort of hit me as someone who was trying to copy Mourinho's tactics unsuccessfully.
All of which underlines the fact Cellino doesn't influence tactics in any way. Maybe he has his favourites that he likes to see play, but those players would start anyway. As for Milanic, I do think he'd have been successful at Leeds, needed a lot longer than 32 days to instill his ideas and acclimatise, but he's a good, experienced coach who's been treated with total disrespect
