Whilst I realise Montenegro needs some acclimatisation time, you do wonder whether 'equally good' equates to 'equally bad' as we haven't seen a sniff of him for the first team despite our creative woes.

I know elland... Although one game was against 16 year olds. I'm not popping at Montenegro, just querying why he doesn't make the bench when we're creating bo diddly. Suggests they don't think he's ready/good enough.

The hierachy have only just got us playing passing football, and they do not want to tinker with the shape of the team.

Once the team has a bit more faith in its own ability, and are stroking the ball around without having to think about it, they will then introduce wide men back into the team.

    That's what I think!

Ha, maybe you're right. From where I'm sitting, I think some tinkering is probably required! At the very least a bench option.

If you look at the team last year, if it wasn't for McCormack, we would have got relegated. Most attacks came from long balls from one end of the pitch to the other.

We don't have anyone of McCormacks ability at the moment, so needed to learn quickly how to pass the ball.

I reckon we are in a transitional period where we have had to take one giant footstep backwards, to hopefully move forward in due course.

I know what you mean shaks, you get the syphilis cleared up and back comes the herpes. Life is one long Groundhog Day to and from the clap clinic.

    Oh is that just me?

Know what you mean. Luckily there hadn't been a step backwards... We couldn't really go that far backwards. I never expected miracles in a short space of time, we show glimpses of promise. Not sure whether its formation, players or understanding... Prob a bit of all of them... But we need more from the midfield, still too lightweight for me.

If Morison starts tomorrow that's more than one giant step backwards, it's time-travelling back to the dark ages.

Would rather bolster the midfield and have Adryan playing just off Antenucci than have that cart horse Morison back playing

He can't do any worse than the rest of the squad to be fair.
You need a midfielder with an eye for goal - your defenders are currently outscoring you midfield 3-2 and a quarter of the season has gone!!

That's why I'd have Adryan pushed further up just behind Antenucci

    Good shout

Cook Dawson and mowatt, adryan in the same midfield. What did Hanson say 'you win nothing with kids'... He was wrong of course.

Nothing against any of them individually, though yet to be sold on mowatt and Dawson. But we look lightweight enough as it is for me, without turning out a team of teenage dwarfs.

    I'd have

    ----------------------Silvestri----------------------

    ----Byram------Bellusci-----Cooper---Warnock--

    Bianci----Adryan---Cook---Dawson--Montenegro

    -------------------Antenucci-----------------------

I'd have Adryan and Montenegro both going forward to support Antenucci
