Ristac I agree with a lot you say, however there are a few shining lights over and above last season

Sharp as you say is good but he's a replacement on a like for like with Ross

Positives are Cooper is better than Wootton, Lees and Pearce and then factor in Bellusci because he is class. So defence should be much better this term

Cook and Taylor are the stand out kids and are better than Murphy and Austin with better cover from Taylor over Warnock plus we have Berardi who is supposed to be better than Byram.

So without going through the whole squad, what I will say is that our coach isn't up to it because on paper we are a much stronger outfit now.

What is the point in him coming out today and saying yes we have plenty of players but they're not good enough. Sorry he may as well sack himself because these players were brought in by MC.

Correct and remember all our dross are currently in the shop window. They'll be difficult enough to move on without the manager saying they're crap. Anyway, Ive never heard any manager openly criticise their players even if relegated

I agree Doc that the players coming in are better than last seasons but the point is how much better? I don't think anyone would have put money on us staying up with last years lot so the ones that come in don't just need to be a bit better, they need to be leaps and bounds ahead.

I am hoping Belusci is good, I haven't seen him play yet, Bianchi is average, Ajose is a squad player at best, Berardi does look better than Byram if he stays on the pitch and I like Warnock, if taylor had been playing LB against Boro he would have been turned inside out by their winger and we would have lost I have no doubt about that. I think Warnock gets a hard deal from the fans if honest.

Cook isn't ready for a whole season yet so I don't agree we should be putting him in and relying on him at the moment but that is just my opinion. Ross had an outstanding season last year and although I have never liked Ross much Sharp is not a 28 goals in a season man for us, not that it matters much as Ross would not have repeated it either.

Defence wise I don't think anyone would say we are weaker but the fact is we need 5 better players in front of them, I am conceding many will feel Sharp is a better choice than Ross but what about the other five. Bianchi is okay, he isn't special though, Murphy has never shone, Doukoura is injured but looked promising.

I agree we need to shift a few more but there are not many left behind;

Adam Drury
Paul Green
Luke Varney
Jamie Ashdown
Michael Brown
El Hadji Diouff
Simon Lenighan
Nathan Turner
Ross McCormack
Gboly Ariyibi
Marius Zaliukas
Danny Pugh
Paddy Kenny

Is more than we have ever allowed to leave before, Hunt, Morison, White would be my three followed by Poleon and Austin but again, there are fans that feel Poleon and Austin are okay players, I don't rate Murphy but some do and is Bianchi that much better than Murphy??

We are signing decent players but they are noting special in my opinion. We will see the back of Hockaday soon I am sure about that but when the next guy comes in he won't be much better as it is the way Cellino wishes to operate, he has done a lot of good for the club but he is a wannabe manager and until he steps back this circle will continue.

Cellino has invested in us, there can only be ONE reason why he picked Hockaday, well two actually, cheap and a puppet.

Felixs slagged Ross McGreedy only last week.

The only players we seem to sign are the ones who no one else was in for, so I can't see how people are saying they're quality. If Cooper was that good (although I agree he looks ok) then why weren't other clubs in for him? Same goes for Bianchi, Sharp, Antenucci, Doukara (who I happen to think is a class act) We didn't exactly have to fight off rival clubs for their signatures. And where's the evidence that Berardi is better than Byram? All I've seen so far is he's pretty handy when it comes to martial arts. They may all turn out to be quality, but there's no evidence of that yet, and having this muppet of a coach doesn't help their development.
The stand out signing for me has to be Silvestri, I guess being a goalkeeper he's less affected by Hockaday's baffling tactics.

Leeds have seen enough of Bellusci......

And have signed him up on a four year deal.

Get him in the damn starting XI

The Warrior has yet to make an appearance for Leeds since joining on loan from Catania last week, but he must have impressed someone.

Either that or United need some more room for loanees in their squad.

The Italian defender's season-long loan move has been turned into a permanent transfer, and he’s now contracted to Leeds until June 2018; he not only has a permanent contract, he now has a four-year permanent contract.

I sure hope he is good because if not that is a long contract for someone who has never played in England before

Wolves bid for liam cooper too but hes looked poor in first 2 games to me

Thought you had enough Sloths should fit in nicely with the rest of the Monkeys <whistle>

Is Cellino offering him peanuts ?

Just how many midfielders do we need? Think we need a Manager who sorts out the right system. A diamond formation, we could have Messi in midfield, & we still wouldn't look that clever

With all these monkeys whats the odds on Dave Jones being your next manager ?

I certainly would not have a bet on that one, it pains me to say it as I had Millwall down as relegation certs.
While Millwall may stay up,they will be bottom 6 or so.And way below us.You expect too much too soon, will take 10 to 12 games for our team to click. You can't expect a group of new players to click over night.

They may click if they get picked but it seems only 1 or 2 are good enough and thats debatable <yikes>
