Cook should be in front of Tonge and Taylor in front of Warnock, so lets say bye bye to these along with Hunt, White, Norris and Morison. That would be a great way of saying we're now in a new era [laying a whole new ball game
The other day some were calling him greedy and jumping to conclusions on how much money he was asking for. Bristol City of Div 1 have agreed terms with him so surely he wasn't asking for that much was he?? On another note, how good is he, a choice between our offer and Bristol Cities, if he were any good surely more teams would be in for him???
I've heard Bristol City have a fairly big wage budget this season, so maybe he is just interested in the money.
just checked with my source, Agard not spoken to Bristol yet, all that's happened is they have come back with an improved offer which has been accepted, now Agard will go to Ashton Gate and hold talks ... let's see if these break down as well, but I have a feeling he will be asking for less than he did of Leeds ... strange one for me though, dropping back into Lge One which tells me Rotherham need the cash and he's probably not wanted anymore due to his "attitude"
Rotherham are desperate to keep him but he has turned down their offer of a new contract, here is what his manager said when he returned from talking to Leeds: "The grass isn't always greener on the other side. He conducts himself in a real professional manner, everyone loves working with him and he always comes in with a smile on his face, Kieran felt that wasn't the right move for him"
bristol city's owner puts 10 million a year into the club didn't 1 other player of ours go there for more money a few years ago.
And the cun.... erm I mean cult following he is supposed to have. He gives away dangerous free kicks when no danger He cannot retain the ball Goes on surging runs, no end product or intelligent pass We need our best player on the pitch in his position. I know he gives it all, and is very passionate, sorry, it ain't enough.....
The worrying thing is I watched Bristol City win at Sheffield United a couple of weeks ago and they look a far better side than we do
No Doc, Warnock put in a fine shift against 'Boro. Taylor is good, but let's not rush him and burn him out. The only thing wrong with yesterday was the Hock getting the set up wrong. He played a diamond formation and we were found out. He moved to a different system in the 2nd half & we were greatly improved. Indeed if Tonge had not screwed up our best ..... make that only chance, there could and should have been a different result. Hock needs to be given time to get things right. Yes, he got things wrong. But at least he had the good grace to admit that and change it in the 2nd half
