Forward Kieran Agard has invited Leeds United to bid for his signature by turning down the offer of a long-term contract at Rotherham United.

Agard, who was watched by Leeds owner Massimo Cellino towards the end of last season, has rejected the chance to commit his future to Rotherham after recent talks about an improved deal.

The 24-year-old, who was Rotherham’s top scorer last season with 26 goals, is tied to the South Yorkshire side for another 12 months after the Millers exercised an option to extend a contract which was due to expire at the end of June.

Wolves are looking for a striker.

Swopping Smith for Sako and giving them a few quid from the McCormack bounty would not be such a bad idea.

Sako is only 26 and can score a goal from out of nowhere!!

I seem to remember a Leeds team full of British players getting hammered 7-3, 6-4, 5-2 etc on cold wet and windy nights, so it won't be too difficult for the Italians to battle harder than that. In fact it didn't have to be a cold wet and windy night game, that 6-0 thrashing by Wednesday was an afternoon game <doh>

I was at that Forest one, fecking shambles Essex. You've got a point I suppose, it's just going to be hard to relate to them, even in a white shirt...I've no problem's with one or two, anyway time will tell. I'll say this though, if things aren't going well, I can see the fans getting on their backs...hope I'm wrong..<ok>
