60, Harold Williams birthday? 90 you say? Hope he's not on a log contract? Still reckon he'll score before Hunt!!!
Ross is 27, not exactly a youngster. Also remember Lambert gets the valuation boost being an England international gives you. I wouldn't expect much more than £4m.
Are you sure we're not?

27??? Not exactly a youngster??? What are you on, Simon? Prime of life for a striker, mate!
My point being he's not going to get any better than he currently is. Compare that to Danny Ings who is only 21 and could be on the verge of a breakthrough into the England team if he carries on his development, how much would you expect to see him go for?
What Ross is worth to us isn't what other clubs would be willing to pay, but I suspect we may end up lowering our valuation to meet that.
David Haigh has spent a 17th night in jail. A close friend of his has been quoted as saying âHe doesnât blame the Dubai authorities for anything thatâs happening but he does feel deeply betrayed by others who he thinks are misusing the legal system there.â
Meanwhile, A source close to Haigh's winding up petition said Cellinoâs lawyers would attempt to argue that any cash given to Leeds by Haigh was âpotentially proceeds of crimeâ in light of his recent arrest in Dubai, and would therefor not pay it.
Song of the day anyone?

When Rickie Lambert was McCormack's age he was still playing for Bristol Rovers, the rest is history.
I'd say he improved quite a bit from the grand old age of 27![]()
There's a difference between a late developer rising through the leagues and a player who has played at a consistent level his entire career. Ross has peaked/is peaking, we're not going to get anywhere near £8m for him.
Rhodes was another player who was much younger than Ross when he moved. Young players have much higher values based on the assumption they will improve. Whatever has happened with individual players in the past, I don't think anyone at Newcastle or Leeds thinks Ross is going to get any better than he currently is.
I don't buy into the theory that players reach a certain age and can't improve any further. Whether Rosco does or does not improve or how much money he goes for is immaterial; the idea that a player can't improve once he hits an age ceiling is just ludicrous. If you're being coached well and you're putting in the hours on the training ground, I expect you'd improve, regardless of whether you're 18 or 32.
