Cagliari have slapped a 10m euro price tag on Victor Ibarbo!

The versatile 22 year old Columbia, plays as a forward.

As Est pointed out yesterday, Cellino owns Cagliari, so can do what he wants.

As long as he remembers to pay the tax on the transfer fee, otherwise it doesn't bear thinking about............



The players report back to Elland Road on Monday for a week of bootcamp!!!

Doubt that is going to be very popular with the players.

A club insider said :[FONT=Arial, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Helvetica, sans-serif] [/FONT]"He wants them back in at the start of June for a week's training camp and it promises to be tough going for the squad. "They are all expected to attend, even if it means cutting short their holidays. It won't be popular with them but Massimo isn't bothered about being popular, he wants to do what is best for the club."


Our first signing from Cagliari will be sporting director Nicola Salerno.

Salerno tweeted : "My future depends on Cellino, we have a close friendship & it's likely I'll go to Leeds."
 
Morning all. Appears Cagliari now sold. Cellino wishes new owners luck with beurocracy and says he's thrilled. Despite what he previously said, this sale will have a huge impact on Leeds I believe. Cellino can now be a full time hands on owner and obviously has extra cash if he needs to plug more holes. I'll bet winding up order will disappear over next week

Morning all. 10m Euro for Ibarbo? Even with Cellino's millions, can't see Ibarbo coming to us, especially as Cellino apparently now doesn't own Cagliari anymore.

Morning Boggers. Some of the transfer rumours are laughable at best. I doubt we could afford Ibarbo even if re were pl. Time people set their sights a lot lower or there will be a lot of disappointed fans over the summer

I can see a few of em getting injured. Remember when Wootton got injured, and McDermott refused to take him off for 30 plus minutes. He hasn't hit the same form since. Its been a long season, their bodies need to recover, and with McDermott confirmed as taking the boot camp, I can see things going downhill.

Explain this so. Celtic will be back playing cl qualifiers in about three weeks or so. They've played as many games, more than our lot in fact. Our lot haven't exactly been strangled working hard since xmas

The preliminary C L rounds are against amateurs. Their reserves would destroy them.
 
I wouldn't bank on it Elland. Celtic aren't all that. The Scottish PL is somewhere between Championship and L1 standard. And without Rangers, they're guaranteed to win it. By how many points did they win this past season?
